The thing about The Shining. The famous "here's Johnny!" scene, was shot several times. Instead of the "struggle" of breaking the prop door being used in the film, they used the struggle of getting through a real door. Jack Nicholson had a background of being a volunteer fireman and knew how to swing an axe. So he broke the prop door too fast for the dramatic scene to look as good as it did. So that iconic scene, is Jack Nicholson breaking a real door and not a prop door.

I've done the candy glass bottles and stuff with some friends before, and I can tell you from personal experience, whether you are being hit, or hitting someone, there is a very primal and raw energy that just blasts from your brain to your whole body and the adrenaline rushes through you like an F1 racecar. And it feels SO AMAZING
