The mimic itself as a character is unnecessary.
I love the contrast to their Security Breach (vanilla) song. Just like how the two play experiences contrast the same way.
SB was bright and colorful with a JTMusic song to match and Ruin is darker and scarier, with a song that invokes that same tone.
It’s always great when JTMusic releases a new song.

"But when your heart starts up again, what kind of rhythm will you find?" is such a beautiful line, and it really captures the little bit of heart and tenderness we see from Cassie in Ruin towards the broken animatronics that didn't exist in maingame SB

I just noticed something. Listen to each chorus and you can hear that the lyrics get less electronically distorted with each repeat (particularly noticable from 1st to 2nd). This fits with the theme of mimicry in the game and referenced in the song, a robot/AI learning to talk and in this case sing. If this was the intention, you only deserve more applause JTMusic and Andrea Kaden. If not, then I'm just rambling a theory and you still deserve all applause for this amazing song

I definitely feel like it was on purpose. The first part of the song (I guess the bridge?) When the lines "I know that love and hunger are my only drives" and "one without the other is a problem for my mind" you can very obviously hear its pitch going haywire, trying to find the right tone for the lines. Assuming that's the mimic speaking of course, unless that was the Daycare attendant.
@@_u0nda928 My thoughts exactly. Also, that's my favorite part of the song. Afterwards, even the "I'm in ruin!" mid chorus part becomes slightly less distorted as the song goes on
@@chazzplaysytcopper554Ay mine too lol, just something about that part has be replaying it over and over. Now that I think about it, this is also noticed with the first chours at the beginning. It sounds humanish but has like a robotic undertone to it. However at the next chorus, its gone. I thought that part was Cassie, but now I'm not sure. And yeah, I noticed that too except for the last chorus at the end, there it becomes very distorted. As for why, I have no idea.
It's hard to describe what makes this song good, that's how you know it was done well
Awesome song! Love how it contrasts the bubbly and bright tone of “The Party Isn’t Over” and mirrors the feel of Ruin.
Ruin was fucking awesome plus the animatronics were terrifying especially ruined Roxy. Her not having a face was so creepy. Plus the jump scares were actually interesting. Like Cassie was actually trying to fight back

I love the instruments on this one, The whole track was great but the instrumentals hit different. The intro of minimal techno, to strings, to that heavy electronic beat mixed with rock was crazy and really shows how much you guys have improved and learned since Five Long Nights. Thank you for another one to remember and to celebrate FNAF's 9th Anniversary!

This is great! The lyrics are clearly based on Ruin and what happens but feels like it's own song for the most part, I love how most of you guys' fnaf songs sound so different to eachother as of recent, this is great!

The music is great (that’s a given), but can we talk about the cinematography of the video real quick? Pat absolutely nailed that ‘resident evil’ vibe in some of the sweeping shots, and he actually made Ruin look even scarier than it already is! Well done to the both of ‘em, this video came out amazing!
Ruin was scary mainly cuz of the animatronics. Ruined Roxy and the mimic being the scariest. Ruined Roxy having a gaping Crater where a face should be was an awesome throwback to withered Bonnie. And it was scarier because you saw her go from regular Roxy to shattered Roxy to ruined Roxy

This song, as well as your last one, both really highlight how much your music has improved over time. Your older stuff is very special too, but Back for Another Bite was next level. And now THIS, this is great too. This one just has such an awesome groove to it. The instrumental doesn't bring a single dull moment, and there are so many moments where you subvert expectations on what will come next in the melody and rhythm. Not to mention the lyrics are super fun! Can't wait to listen to this one over and over like I did with the last one lol

My favorite part is JT's rapping because it reminds me of his older songs, which I think are iconic. The female voice is really nice and compliments JT's voice. All in all, this is a great song. I love how the mimic slowly gets the chorus tone right throughout the song and eventually loses its glitched voice. compare the first chorus( 1:06 ) to the last( 2:50) and you'll hear it
