코로나 터지기전 엄마아빠랑 가족들해서 노래방을 자주 다녔는데 항상 구경만 하시던 아빠가 제가 나의옛날이야기를 부르는데 이 노래를 어떻게 아냐고 하셨습니다. 아이유가 불렀던 노래라서 알아요 했더니
슬그머니 마이크 잡고 부르셨는데, 처음 들어본 아빠의 노래였어요. 젊은시절 기타 메고 다니시면서 노래부르는 걸 좋아하셨다는데 말로만 들었지, 그렇게 멋지게 부르실 줄이야..저한텐 환갑 넘으신 우리 아빠도 시집 읽고 기타치던 꿈많은 청년이였지
하고 새삼 일깨워준 노래가 되었네요 :) ..

IU is a simple girl if we look at the way she dressed up. But, she has thousands charms in herself, her inner beauty really works out and it shines our eyes :D Her voice is so special too. I dont understand the right technique about singing. What I know is, my ears feel blessed whenever it meets with IU's voice ;)) Idk, if God gives me voice as good as IU has, I would be so loud to sing everywhere xD

the lights make it so nostalgic. she makes me cry so easily with the words she sings, whether it's her own lyrics or songs she makes her own by covering like this one, she chooses really touching lyrics and her delivery is so incredibly emotional. i've always loved her music and she's helped me cry out feelings for so many years but now after lilac i'm finally diving into her variety show appearances, and buying her albums, and getting to know her better and it's been such a joy. she becomes more amazing the closer you get.
