Samantha Smith no she actually has great technique. When she sings at her own accord she sings what she knows she is comfortable with. She's talking here about the songs with Exid cause L.e writes and produces them she also intructs them on how to sing the parts, Solji even said she asked for the note to be lowered but L.e was like nah i like it better higher.

@@mewmew9412 She has good technique in general but she does push a lot. It sounds fine in studio but live is rougher but then again so are most vocalists. Still, Solji is among the best when it comes to voices and technique. It's hard to find a good combo of both in popular groups. The fact that these girls work together to create their songs is very special and talent though since most groups don't do this at all

But when she pushes it higher the stability shifts, she can hit the notes easily but to do like long belting with impulsive vibrato her voice will crack painfully. Usually soulful voice goes well with higher keys but Hani's voice is a different example, she also has a very soulful voice but her vocal range is very deep, much deeper than the majority of male vocalists or singers as their neutral.
