Whatβs wrong with the tarte contour
I was also sadly disappointed with the REM eyeshadows because the colors are so gorgeous and I love her other products, but the formula was just not it.
I donβt follow REM products but i wonder if these are meant to have light pigmentation
I use the Gerard Cosmetics Clean Canvas Eye Concealer and Base when i use the rem palettes and it really makes the eyeshadows pop out a lot
i feel that way abt Morphe 2 eyeshadows. It's really really good for if you're on a budget but it's really really patchy, it's not as pigmented as it could be, and if you want good results you have to use your fingers. I wore a light blue from the Beach themed Ready in 5 palette today and it looks green. I absolutely love the sparkles in the palette tho, that's the only thing i like abt it-
Chalky, no pigment and smelled like chemicals.
Yes! So not worth the money. My favorite are the colourpop eyeshadow palettes!! They are not overpriced and the formula is amazing!!!
LA Colors Concealer is full coverage and it covers up my dark eyelids very well. It's literally 3 dollars at 5Below and I would say they have a pretty decent sized range of colors. It's not a LOT a lot, but they have some darker shades. if you have uneven skin texture it does look a little cakey, but i still use it ever day despite the fact it makes skin look cakey where there is uneven skin texture.
I don't understand why Essence discontinued the Pretty Natural foundation, first of all was a better shade range and was so beautiful on the skin !

Oh I love the Tarte bronzer it has a reddish undertone for my fair skin that I love and itβs so easy to blend for my lack of makeup skills π

I love my keep me covered essence concealer. Idk if itβs because of my skin type but I think it gives me the coverage I need. Also I feel like itβs very beginners friendly although do HATE the shade range.
i personally love the essence concealer for a natural everyday makeup look. i have very sensitive skin and this concealer hasnβt given me any breakouts or problems like others have. the only problem is that their shade range is horrible. i want to try something else that is more friendly to dark skin but i havenβt found anything. any recommendations??

i donβt agree with you on essence!! they are really doing the job for the price point.
I love their blushes and powders and lip products but I saw several videos about the foundation and the shades just look sooo yellow and hardly any difference between many of them.
They are great for white people.
I love their blushes and lip products as well but oh jeez in 2 hours the foundation was totally caked around my nose creases, gone around my chin and just was migrating towards every little tiny crease in my face. It just didn't work for me at all π’π’

REM is made by the same company that owns morphe.
I was literally just taking abt how Morphe eyeshadows are patchy and not pigmented. Maybe it's just a company thing??
Those eyeshadow look to me exactly like the chalky, hard to blend morphe formulas.... Colourpop eye shadows have ruined most of any other brands for meπ they are buttery, pigmented, bendable with little fall out and the price is lower than other "fancier" chalky brands.

That Essense concealer does nothing for my skin sadly too.
Fr those eyeshadow pallets are trash takes forever to get the color to show up. Glad I got them on sale

Finally, someone who isnβt fangirling over the Tarte wands. I donβt understand why everyone loves them. I was highly disappointed and the price-not worth it, in my opinion.
