I got you guys, I figured it out. When you’re on that editing screen click the “Add to Home Screen” blue letter link and then try clicking the icon again and the menu will pop up that she’s talking about

Yes! and also, when I get a new message alert notification its only pop up red bubble at the original app , not the short cut so I end up didnt even use a short cut That I made. Was gunna hide original app in Library, now its not convenient at all. well just aesthetic then.

Tip: in settings go to motion and toggle “reduce motion”. That way it takes less time for an app to open from shortcuts!

If you don’t want to go through the hassle of having to launch the shortcuts app, the icon themer shortcut is very helpful. This enables you to enter directly into your app when clicking it. It takes a little prep work beforehand, but it’s worth it in the long run. The shortcut is regularly updated, so it’s constantly improving!

I would also recommend using icons8 to create your own app icons (most icons are free, high quality, and there’s a large library as well). Hope this helps!
