This song reminds me of my father who passed away last week. I'm living here in Australia and my family is in the Philippines. I can't go home because of the current situation. I went to the beach alone and just looked into the sea breeze, just trying to be strong since I am alone here in Australia and I can't go home to see my father. Just when i sitted, the spotify song switched to this song "Lonely". I couldn't hinder myself but cry, thinking about my father, thinking about how he passed away so sudden. I couldn't help but regret why I wasn't able to tell him I love him even before he passed. I don't even remember when was the last time I called him. My tears where flowing and I keep thinking about my memories with my father. I wish he could have seen me to be more successful in life and be stable. I wish he could have attended to my future wedding and see his future grandkids. I wish he know that I love him. Papa, I'm sorry and thank you for everything. I wish I was there with my family now to grieve with them. Now I feel so lonely being here in Australia, being away from family. Why did it happen now? Why now?
