Baekhyun, one of the main lead singer of EXO still takes vocal lessons till THIS DAY. They still strive for perfection and discipline even when they've been in the industry for 10 years. So much respect for him, such a humble king.

When you said 'Just look at the top hits today no one is their level' thats really true. In today's generation, everyone gives priority only to popularity, if only music or voice is given priority then it must be EXO in kpop industry 🤗 Hearing their voice is truly soul-stirring to me 😇

When I was discovering K-pop I listened to a lot of groups and although their styles and music were not to my liking, I could recognize that talent was abundant BUT when I found EXO it was like a call from heaven, they are THE PERFECTS balance between talent and music. And it wasn't just that they could sing amazing, it was the fact that all their voices were pleasant and all stood out for how unique they were. To this day, I haven't heard another group that surpasses EXO in terms of talent and music combined ❣

13:50 that's D.O, that is his usual self actually haha. He's always serious and reserved everytime but his voice is truly impeccable, it is more round and agile as he usually do riffs and runs.

Yeah,Chenyeol is rapper but he can sing very well with his deep voice,and he is so talented he can play guitar,piano,drums and track guitar

26:58, couldn’t agree more about the diminishing returns. Exo are legendary talents. People don’t even know how insanely fortunate they are to be able to experience this in their actual lifetimes.

I love their voices; they are so distinguishable. My favorite is D.O.´s voice. You could see his solo performances.

I really wish Kai could have participated in their Killing Voice episode. Definitely missing Kai here. He has the most gorgeous thick, sticky & sweet tone. Like honey or maple syrup 🍯 😁

Last Christmas, the first snow song-a 10-year-old B-side track without even a music video-won an award and achieved a lot of real all-time kills, resurrecting as number 1 on all Korean music platforms. Even now, even though the party is over, that song remains number one on the charts for boy groups. Just imagine, the guys were just breathing, not active, and without lifting a finger, then suddenly their decade-old song got RAKS. No one did it like them🥹 I'm just so proud that I stan talent and quality.

Baekhyun & Chen have 2 of my favorite voices in ALL of Kpop! This whole group is absolutely amazing. So happy you did this reaction. 💜

I'm so proud of them. They don't really deserve to be label "old gen group" cause they never gets old. Plus, they are one of the best vocal singers, not just in KPOP industry but in global music industry. I don't understand much about singing, I can only have faith on my ears, but I love music so much and I listen to many king of genres. And I swear, in 42 years of life, I don't think I've heard much of these kind of voices and talent. Thank you, Justin, for this reaction. I know you're an amazing singer and vocal coach, so I know your opinion it's not only about music taste, but most on your knowledge, ears and talent, then I know that what you say it objectvly the truth.
Plus, they are so humble, they keep studying, take singing classes every week, even till late at night. They challenge themselves in many ways. This make them kings.
I know there are so many groups, singers, artists that deserve love and support, that are talented and humble at the same way. I know EXO are not the only one group out there, but I think that the business mistreated them a lot, although they deserve to be recon much more.
Their music is something that never gets old.

Chen, Baekhyun and DO are one of the strongest vocalists in kpop industry. I recommend you to listen to their “Baby don’t cry” live since it’s a really showcase their vocals so well and has very minimal post-production

I think we all give for granted EXO is gonna nail every song and sound like it's so natural and easy for them. So I really do think they sometimes get overlooked because of it and then you see other people covering their songs and 9 out of 10 times they just fall short because it's not easy at all.

I’ve been following EXO for six years, and I still watch them and commentators two to five hours a day!
I was first amazed by their voices, then their choreography. Later, as my ear got better tuned to them, thanks to reactors explaining different aspects of their vocal ability., I started really noticing vibratos, runs, switching from chest to head to falsetto. Yes, even the two rappers have great voices! And their star dancer, too. He wasn’t on this show since he’s doing his military duty. Interesting that those three have the deeper vocals of the group.
I’m going to look into how groups achieve such harmony, because theirs just transports me to another dimension.
I don’t think I ever take their abilities for granted.
I do try to watch other groups, but I can tell EXO is far above other groups vocally. Other groups might have one or two really proficient vocalists, but the entire group?!

What kept my earphones on full volume until today is the beautiful harmony they make in almost all of their tracks. That's one feature ot them that really caught my heart. Thank you for finally reacting to EXO Killing Voice! You're so right. There are amazing vocalists who are underappreciated. I feel like EXO are one of them. EXO members, to this day, continue to take vocal lessons even though they have been singing for a long time. You can't cheat the grind! While there are kpop artists with average mediocre vocals who are at the top right now. And yes, good vocals and good music combined creates amazing music that never expires. You speak facts! Exactly, it's nice to hear it from a professional point of view. What attracted me to them is that they are so different and their vocal abilities are at a really high level. Each of them knows exactly how to fit in while singing. Every note they sing is calculated whether it's together as a harmony or individually, even though it seems otherwise. I don't know how to explain it, but each member has a different singing style and excels at different things that add a lot to the songs, they don't sound the same as is customary today.
BTW, they performed a few rock songs (such as: "MAMA", and some songs that Baekhyun and Chen performed).

I have been in the world of Kpop and in the world of music study for so many years, and I can say that today there are few groups that can compare to EXO.
EXO has it all, they are true singers and performers, but they do not have the recognition they deserve, because they have not had the marketing support that their skills deserve.
Today it is full of Kpop groups that are a true phenomenon in the world, but they are not able to sing a single song live without being out of tune and running out of air. AND THAT'S NOT BAD, because they can improve if they work on it, but we see that time progresses and their voices become their least concern, and they only focus on selling and keeping fans delighted with other things. It's sad that music works like this nowadays.
EXO will always have my admiration, I think it is difficult for a group so dedicated and hardworking in their singing skills to exist again in the future, but for the moment I enjoy listening to their incredible voices and their wonderful and versatile discography 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

SM vocals stand out among many others. They are best in industry and nobody can be compared to these legends. Then or now and even in future, legends stay the same. All rounders with talent. Being popular doesn't necessarily make anyone perfect in everything however, vocals and music speaks of who the artists really are. Groups like shinee and exo comes in such category who made a way for k-pop of what it is today. As he said no-one is on their level if we look at top Hits today. Just good enough voices gets on top with marketing. Yeah, people don't appreciate true talent. He spilled super open facts!

Yes, I agree with you about how vocal training can help a lot and improve you; it will bring out the best in you. Mind you, the guys were already blessed with amazing voices since debut due to their natural talent, but even now, they still have vocal lessons.

I first got acquainted with K*pop a year ago... I think the difference between K*pop and other music is in the dance. K*pop is famous for its dances. When I got to know K*pop, I first watched the music video and K*pop dance is attractive to me. And the next step was to look at the meaning of that song and if the meaning and dance of that music was good, I would listen to that music... until I met E*xo. For me, E*xo is music without subtitles, which means I don't need to know the meaning. I don't have their lyrics, I just enjoy listening to their beautiful voice and wonderful music. Whenever I want to see K*pop or listen to it, I listen to other groups' music or watch other groups' music videos. But whenever I want to listen to really good music, I only listen to E*XO.
E*XO has everything I like and expect from a very good music. E*XO dances very well and skillfully. E*XO has meaningful and beautiful music. E*XO has the best and most important characteristic of a singer group, which is the ability to sing. E*XO has the 8 best singers in K*orea. The 8 best vocalists in the history of K*pop. 8 vocalists and rappers. That means all the members can rap in addition to vocals. The power of the notes and the magical voice of E*XO members is not in any group. When they start singing, I am with myself. I say, are they really normal people? How can they sing so well and powerfully? It's as if they are extraterrestrial with a voice that comes from heaven.
E*XO can perform live music in such a way that you scream with excitement and surprise. They sing so strong and well that recently they protested to them not to perform live music so much and not to show off your good voice. In addition to singing, they are actors. They are also very good. In fact, E*XO are the most talented and best singers, actors, dancers, and models in the K*pop and K*drama industry... I admire many groups besides EXO and I like their music, such as Stray Kids, Ateez, seventeen, TXT, TNX, NCT, Black Pink, TWICE, Girls Generation, BTS, and... but E*XO is an unrepeatable legend in the K*pop music industry.
