It is crazy that Justin is the most hated yet most famous and talented artist in his era. I don't see any pop artists that are releasing songs in different genres that still sound genuine. Most R&B albums are not even as good as this was not even a decade ago. A lot of people have got used to hating Justin every since he was a kid and they still do not take him seriously. He is a legend not many teen artists have lasted as long as him in his mid 20s he is honestly the only modem pop star that should be respected in every genre.

Let's just admit, Justin Beiber is a great singer and he has great producers. This album is more musically sophisticated than most Top 40 Pop out these days. I think Journals has some sick grooves and beautiful ballads. But unfortunately, the lyrical content totally holds this album back from what it could be. i'm in my mid-20s & I'm genuinely a big fan purely for his music! i'm not influenced by an attraction to Justin in the way like many teens/children. i just think he has wonderful songs that are the perfect mix of rnb & pop. His singing style is interesting coz its really diverse & emotional. Yes he sounds young in his voice, & sadly for him that limits his audience... even if he had a different personality, a lot of people just don't like that childish sound. After this past year, Justin Beiber has plenty of crazy shit to write about, yet he still caters his lyrics to tween fangirls, despite the fact that his innocence is long gone in the public spotlight. Let's just admit, Justin Beiber is a great singer and he has great producers. This album is more musically sophisticated than most Top 40 Pop out these days.
I think Journals has some sick grooves and beautiful ballads. But unfortunately, the lyrical content totally holds this album back from what it could be. I hope this guy reaches a turning point eventually; he could make some great music if he wanted to.

I don't see how his fanbase is holding him back. There is some explicit content in this album, and some songs are quite suggestive. If he was held back by his fanbase, you wouldn't hear that stuff in his music.
i'm in my mid-20s & I'm genuinely a big fan purely for his music! i'm not influenced by an attraction to Justin in the way like many teens/children. i just think he has wonderful songs that are the perfect mix of rnb & pop. His singing style is interesting coz its really diverse & emotional. Yes he sounds young in his voice, & sadly for him that limits his audience... even if he had a different personality, a lot of people just don't like that childish sound. But if you take the voice for what it is & put his persona aside, you should be able to appreciate his vocal abilities & fantastic choice of songs & genre ...& then maybe you'll stop whining like little bitches & use ur life's precious moments to feel & spread love, not hate. Do some self reflection & along the way give this guy a little fucking credit.
