That's the reason IU become popular in the firstplace., it's all about Backing by Big Company & Sajaegi..
nina definitely has something about her that makes her shine, cant tell if its her intelligence, skill or personality,, but she really is amazing.
She's got an international appeal, or she's more relatable. Which is something that jpop never could get right.

@@controversialgaming1364 Actually it's called stage craft or stage presence and she really is a master of it. It's all about human psychology. She has a constant expression on her face and doesn't falter or have dead pan or worry on it thru out the performance. Also the average person gets bored quickly so what the best entertainers do is do slight re-directions, looking to the side, looking at their hand, shifting focus to another person. Your eye quickly pops and notices the change and re-ignites our focus on the what they are doing then pops back to the original. When it is done slightly you do it every few seconds. Major changes are different. Hence why you see different camera shots. That is the producer doing the re-focusing of the object. Nina is doing this pretty much perfectly. When she does her song portion in a later episode and sit down and watch it as compared to the others she does it at the precise times when she needs to. She doesn't do it too often but she also doesn't neglect it. She doesn't do it to the same place and doesn't do the same movement so it's not just repetitious. In fact she is doing it so well it covered up for the fact her dancing is a bit awkward. But you just don't notice it. When JYP said she was a star he really wasn't kidding. Not sure if you watched episode 6 but her performance there was one of the 2 performances that awed the other contestants and the judges too.

The way he looks at these girls is just like he’s looking at his daughters with such pride. He looks up to them as if he were a fan. I just hope that these girls can stay as humble and happy with the grueling training that Korea will give.

It's super unhealthy but I don't think that makes him a terrible person. Asian culture itself needs to improve.

@@mat_drown I feel like a lot of koreans speak japanese kind of off. They seem to pronounce each syllable seperately instead of letting it flow. So it always sounds like "su-ba-ra-shi-desu" instead of "subarashidesu". I think that's just how they speak their language, so they apply that to japanese and other languages like chinese.

I say those 3 JYP trainees language skill is far above Nina.... no hate, i LOVE Nina.... but maybe its different... Nina in Japan is for live, school etc.... the 3 JYP trainees in Korea are (maybe) trained in JYP "camps" and for their dream, maybe its more intensive than Nina's.... well My top 3 is Nina, Mihi and Mako.... I hope all 3 will debut, Rima could be the 4th....

Jyp has long been fluent in English. Especially during the Wonder Girls era. There was a time the girls promoted in the U.S. and JYP accompanied them. He was interviewed many times speaking in English.

It's pretty funny and cute that nina was shy and stumbled at first but nearly in an instant was she so confident. She is very talented and pretty intelligent for being able to store TWO FRICKIN languages in her head! I mean i watch anime and i'm not even able to learn japanese from it in 6 years! Let alone she learnt it in 2 and so fluently. If she ever gets her dream to come true in Korea, she will probably learn korean in like a day. Overall, she is awesome! Also to me she looks more western

Well basically almost all non English countries are learning English as their second language.
uhm i speak 7 languages its not that hard when your mother is japanese and shes 14 so its easier to learn a language when youre younger
Nina will take home everything. Not only she has her own beauty, she's also multi talented. She did 2 Japanese Movies in 2019, Shiba Park and Chi Tomodachi, which I personally think she could also act. Now she performed a perfect audition for JYP, sang and danced really well, I can already predict how she would success in chasing her dreams in the future. She can also speak French, and she's still 14.
