Money, and work, and even relationships aren't going to feed that hunger inside. We must tap into our hearts and listen to our souls speak. We're here for so much more, a bigger picture, but many alive today don't recognize this, and they feel hollow inside because of it. They need to recognize they are part of the universe, and the universe is inside of them. Source, the universe, God, whatever you want to call it- it's part of what we are, and it's what everything is derived from. We suffer a lot when we get caught up in the worldly shallow surface level stuff- the ego minds desires for pleasure, but no self actualization, no sense of connection to what's deeper, and what ties us to every living thing, and even the stars. When people come to recognize this, they can open their hearts to connect with life more deeply, themselves and others more deeply, knowing that they are part of the whole of creation. We are divine.
I think Jae's voice is the soul of this song. I can feel the struggle and helplessness of life in his voice. Hope to hear the original version one day.

I think even in 2022 till date the English version of zombie is the best English song I have heard from any k group (k-pop group) because this was the first time was got hooked to the lyrics first then the melody (they are sooo well written). what makes this song special is that it is everyone's story. the struggles, the daily grind, the fake hello, the dead spirit inside us. at one point in our lives, we become a zombie, living for the sake of it. but being a zombie isn't the end. at one point, we become hopeful again, we want to live and feel alive. as the members experience mental struggle, this song even speaks louder. although they are regarded as the band with no bad songs, they still become a zombie with empty hearts and empty minds. but i hope they feel alive again, not for us but for them--for the person that was lost, for the person they miss the most. aside from the emotional lyrics, the instrumental is phenomenal! it's not the typical DAY6 where transitions are dramatic and vocals are dynamic. instead, this song sits on their lower to mid registers. but not to mistake, the chord progression is still as complicated as fck. and the mixing and transitions of the song is on another level like really complicated; they are subtle yet difficult to pull off. so to end this essay, let's all support our superband to the end. i know we won't get any promotions for this comeback but please support them in our little ways. fighting DAY6. hope u get well, mydays are just here waiting. no rush.

I love the message and everything, but can we just talk about their first day sales from their albums? “The Day” only got 23, “Entropy” only got 8,585, “The Demon” got 30,174. I asked my friend to take a glimpse of this song. He wasn't a fan of a non-pop songs. So when he agreed, I told him to pay attention to the MV and turn the English captions..... After a while, I asked him "How's it?", "Did you get the song's message?", then I was surprised to see that he started giving me lengthy replies. I guess he was crying while texting his reply. When I asked "is Day6 good?" he said "Ofcourse!".Then I advised him to watch their other Mv's...and he did! Well I guess I turned him into a myday. i noticed that the actor who played zombie is moving slow but everything around him is moving so fast in life we think that why everybody is growing and becoming so successful in life but us is like moving slow and theres no changes we think why we're the only ones who's suffering in life while others is getting what they want, this is so relatable damn.

what makes this song special is that it is everyone's story. the struggles, the daily grind, the fake hello, the dead spirit inside us. at one point in our lives, we become a zombie, living for the sake of it.
but being a zombie isn't the end. at one point, we become hopeful again, we want to live and feel alive.
as the members experience mental struggle, this song even speaks louder. although they are regarded as the band with no bad songs, they still become a zombie with empty hearts and empty minds. but i hope they feel alive again, not for us but for them--for the person that was lost, for the person they miss the most.
aside from the emotional lyrics, the instrumental is phenomenal! it's not the typical DAY6 where transitions are dramatic and vocals are dynamic. instead, this song sits on their lower to mid registers. but not to mistake, the chord progression is still as complicated as fck. and the mixing and transitions of the song is on another level like really complicated; they are subtle yet difficult to pull off.
so to end this essay, let's all support our superband to the end. i know we won't get any promotions for this comeback but please support them in our little ways. fighting DAY6. hope u get well, mydays are just here waiting. no rush.

DAY6 have always put 'connecting with fans' first and you can TRULY TRULY feel that with this song, that they're trying to create music that fans can connect and relate to and then comfort them.
As I said, I'm sure every person feels lost at least once in their lives and that's okay, that's what DAY6 as a group, with their music is telling us. I love the message and everything, but can we just talk about their first day sales from their albums? “The Day” only got 23, “Entropy” only got 8,585, “The Demon” got 30,174. Yall that’s such a big difference from Entropy. The growth omg. And to mention, they’re the first boy group (band) of JYP to hit at top 5 in melon since 2PM (group) I’m really happy for my boys, but sadly they can’t promote. What’s good is they’re finally becoming more recognised in Korea, this might probably becoming their most successful comeback yet.

I asked my friend to take a glimpse of this song. He wasn't a fan of a non-pop songs. So when he agreed, I told him to pay attention to the MV and turn the English captions..... After a while, I asked him "How's it?", "Did you get the song's message?", then I was surprised to see that he started giving me lengthy replies. I guess he was crying while texting his reply. When I asked "is Day6 good?" he said "Ofcourse!".Then I advised him to watch their other Mv's...and he did! Well I guess I turned him into a myday. Somehow, it melted my heart because Day6 is finally having the recognition they deserve.

i love how people interpreted this song as a song that talks about their mental state instead of a love song which is what it seemed to be marketed as before. i came back to read the english translations after listening to the english version because i know young k said that they didn't directly translate the korean lyrics but still wanted to keep the same mood and meaning and they did a fantastic job. even though day6 won't be promoting this on music shows i know this song will have a long-lasting impact in the long run and i want to thank them for releasing something so vulnerable.
