This story made me cry. This is actually my very first K-drama. They truly loved each other, but were separated by circumstance. Very sad. Only the memory will remain...

What a refreshing story line and how 2 people started out as someone needing a 💃 dance partner blossom into a 8yrs.of off and on young love, fighting through lifes problems and finding themselves and also the very deep love they have for each other, but also never getting that last time together. 😊

I wonder how do only K-Movies touch upon such real pain with such intricate emotions 🤯

Even if they have strong feelings for each other, they can't be together and they both know it. Love entails sacrifice. Both of them aren't willing to compromise or work together as one. That is not true love.

Not all story has a happy ending that's call true world... I never imagine both really break up and the scene in the elevator wow 😢😢😢.... it's the example of an intense love but toxic in somehow.... great performances both....

The film shows exposes really unfortunate parts of Korean society, especially the work culture: women pressured to give sexual favors to keep or get ahead at work, the gender discrimination, shown especially in the interview scene. And a convenience store manager looking down on an employee because they didn’t go to college or didn’t go to a well-known college? So ridiculous. Like you really need a college education to work there.

It happened to me. My lover is my competition since in college to get better grade or score, when to find a job, and even career. Crazy, but it happened. We're married but then divorce. After divorce,maybe the competition start again to get a better spouse and to have better living 😅. Never ending competition 😅

This movie highlighted to me the importance of selflessness and sacrifice for the sake of love, and how it can make you a better human being.
Both the characters were at the worst moment of their lives when they were in that relationship, neither had any job nor any money and their hopes for the future were dwindling away with every interview rejection. In those moments they failed to come through for each other, neither one of them wanted to let the other one get ahead at his/her own expense, nor show true selfless love. Would their relationship have been better if they were together during a more stable point in their lives? Perhaps, but life gets you down and defeats you often and if your not willing to give a part of yourself away to that other person, then the relationship won't last during those turmoil times.

Although it wasn't nice that he walk away when he knew she had collapsed, and went on to the interview, she probably would have done the same thing. She was quite nasty the way she spoke to him on previous occasions, especially when he told her he loved her, never really got the "true love" feelings from them throughout, so don't think they were a good match for a lifetime anyway. So dont think after 3years the tears were necessary, they both could have had reflective moments on how perhaps they could have done better, but they lived and learnt, and moved on (part of growing up), to a deeper more meaningful relationship with other more suited partners, as well as careers.

However bad a situation, one should never betray a relationship. Cheating when in a relation is toxic

Totally unacceptable behaviour to make remarks on sex at the interview. It’s the 21 st century where women deserve to be respected and evaluated by their educational standards, work ethics, and performance at the workplace.

Hope there will be a third part, as the ending of this one cannot be left as it is, with both leads obviously loving each other but crying about their lost love, both of them thinking that the other one has stopped loving the other one...

The girl having the fear of them breaking up because of the reading. That's why she always think that they will break up, which in the end happened. I think the boy wanted to marry her at the right time. But the girl keeps on saying about them breaking up, making the boy rejected all over again.
