"Lee Ji-eun (이지은) born May 16, 1993, known professionally as IU (아이유), is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actress. The name IU is a combination of 'I' and 'You,' meaning "you and I become one with music." She signed with Kakao M in 2007 as a trainee and debuted as a singer at the age of fifteen with her first mini-album Lost and Found. Although her follow-up albums, Growing Up and IU...IM, brought mainstream success, it was after the release of 'Good Day' (좋은 날) that she achieved national stardom. "Good Day" went on to spend five consecutive weeks at the top position of South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart, and in 2019, it was ranked number one on Billboard's '100 Greatest K-Pop Songs of the 2010s' list."

IU is one of my most favorite solo Idols because she makes me feel so empowered because of her amazing confidence and powerful aura she lets out while performing . Everything about her screams Queen , she's such a respectful and strong role model for me . Many people say they feel intimidated by her because she always has this dominant look to her , but it's part of who she is , it's part of what makes her the queen she is , it's part of her that makes her so special , it's what makes her IU . She gave me the confidence to come over so many obstacles and I feel proud to say I'm her fan .

For all these years i was wondering why she had so much success...not so much into her songs.
Now i just think she may just become legendary.
Many still think such of IU which is quite sad, this video is just the tip of the iceberg of her singing career, she had suffered a lot in her early days from a company on the verge of bankruptcy to one of the biggest company in korea, she was not only hated but was witch hunted, boycotted at one time too due to false rumors and allegations, she pushed her limits to work, took initiatives for herself and to get into variety shows and radio shows to make her regular and be known publicly, it was after good day her life changed she became a hot topic and huge sensation as a teenager but she didn't stop after it and worked even more hard ,learned more on various things and soon within 3/4 years of her debut started to take creative control of her works until now she's in full control for herself and her agency never stopped her, all the problems, hardships she went through has made her more mature and grow a lot for her age, if you see her lyrics and talks you can find such a depth in her words and thinking which we can't help but admire and be inspired. Despite all the records and history she has created can never be compared and is unparalleled in korean music industry, she has already been legendary and still thriving.
She is one of the most genuine artist I have ever known, is the leader and glue that has made her team stick and flourish over a decade along with her, is very socially responsible and a donation angel. Can't help but l9ve and respect her a lot forever

She can sing, dance, rap, be visual, write, compose even produce songs than your faves. She's the one whos been looked up to by your faves and she's the one who's a celebrity for a celebrity. Old and young people can relate and listens to her songs even if they are not a fan. Can act, can destroy your faves in a chart with her single song, she's had the most PAK in a chart also had AK, won an award, had a lot of cf's, dramas and attended cannes fim festival. So basically no one doing it like IU. She also had a lot of sold out concert than your faves.
