umji's moon sign means when she got bullied from haters bcs of her visual during navillera era, but actually she is pretty like a moon.
And they always ended up together, caring each other so they become Gfriend we know now

One reason I watch reaction videos is to join others in the sense of appreciation of these girls' music, personality and energy. I love the direct and unadulterated joy you share with us. Not so much with gushing compliments but true enjoyment of Gfriend's labor of love. And their Japanese discography is truly deserving. Memoria is my favorite Gfriend MV for the feeling of mutual support and help among the sisterhood it portrays, so warm and caring that it almost makes me want to cry. Flower's Latin beat and the stunning visual of each one of them are unforgettable. As for Fallin' Light, you have a much better expression in your reaction video than I can describe :-)

Memoria is about all the pain that they've experienced. Dove is for Sowon's father who died, Yerin's knee injury, Eunha's eye infection, Yuju's hand injury, Wings for Sinb's shoulder injury and Umji being called ugly before (the moon is plain then she painted it to be beautiful).

My personal favorite, Memoria. This is such a great anime ending song LOL. But most of all, the meaning of the MV. Each members has symbolism shown throughout the MV. It mostly is about their struggles and pain.
Sowon - dove/paper cranes. Sowon's dad passed away after Time For The Moon Night promotions. The birds resembles someone passing away.
Yerin - glitters on her knees. Yerin had leg injuries way back before.
Eunha - blocking the light on her left eye. Eunha suffered from eye injury(or infection) throughout Time For The Moon Night promotions. That's why she wears an eye patch in some of their performances.
Yuju - Painting on her arm. Yuju is known for her hand injury from predebut days. Also the Me Gustas Tu happening, she's the one who had injuries on her fingers.
Sinb - Wings. Sinb disclocated her shoulders while performing Navillera (she still performed professionally)
Umji - Moon. This I'm not really sure. But back then she got a lot of hate because of her body. She's quite round at the time of Rough and she got criticized by it. If you guys know the representation of the moon in here, can you also add up. :)

GFriend’s Japanese releases are on another level. I don’t understand Korean or Japanese but I’ve seen many people (natives) complementing their pronunciation and the fact that their songs don’t sound like Korean songs translated to Japanese but rather actual songs in Japanese. Your reaction to Falling Light it’s literally me watching any GFriend music video for the first time hahah so relatable
About performances/dance practices: I believe Memoria has a dance practice in King Record’s channel. But for Memoria and Flower they made a Korean version and performed it in music shows/concerts. I really love their performance of Flower at their concert last year specially the yerin + Yuju + Eunha high note combo towards the end. As for Falling Light I believe they performed it a few times in Japan so there are some videos of live performances, but no dance practice that I’m aware of.
I would love to see your reaction to the theory videos, but it’s up to you, to be honest I’ll watch whatever you choose to upload haha.

Flower, latin vibe, japanese language, sang by korean singers. No awkwardness on their pronunciation. Some Japanese commented that they way Gfriend sang Japanese songs gave really justice to their language despite of being koreans. 😊
Also, all their songs never loses the storylines. There is really a story of friendship, hope, happiness. 😊 Gfriend is one among the few kpop groups that releases meaningul songs. They are really worth to listen. no really to stan but to evaluate and reflect about life, that there is something in your heart that needs their melody. Have a nice day!

Btw so I’m assuming they were due a Japanese comeback soon, but there’s rumors of them leaving their Japanese record label and potentially joining the same JP label that other Bighit artists like BTS and TXT are under.
I can’t speak for everyone, but from what I’ve seen there’s quite a bit of people happy about this since after Memoria, it felt like their JP label wasn’t promoting them as heavily as they should, despite creating all of these amazing songs (not to mention none of these songs are in Apple Music or Spotify 🙁). I mean as an anime fan myself, it shocks me that there isn’t an anime using these as openings/endings.
So we’ll see what they decide to do with Gfriend, but if they do switch to another JP label, then hopefully they get the promotion they deserve, cause their entire Japanese discography is golden.

Also for dance practices memoria has one but it's the short version and theres the live Korean version and some in japanese from their japan tour of last year. The same goes for flower that has a live Korean version and some good quality fancam of the tour un japan.
For falling light i only know fancams and not official releases.

You know what's the biggest crime? They performed Fallin' Light just once and we were/are so pissed at their Japanese Label and it could be possible that they don't release any new songs until they are out of the label. I even can said they doing rlly³ well with japanese the producer, the outfit, makeup, lyrics, mv's visual but sadly their labelmates destroyed it. Yess King R3cords didn't promote them well even bfr it King R3cords had blocked Gfriend's megustastu mv without reason. Happy to see you start to notice Eunha. All of them have a great voice, but I really like her unique tone. Her voice suited really well in their Japanese release. Eunha is my bias and the my bias wrecker are SinB, Umji, Yuju, Sowon and Yerin. Hahaha I love them all.

When you watch their variety shows, it would really be hard to pick your bias among them. Because there you will see who they really are.
Specially that "law of the jungle" (yerin). Eunha is my bias and Sinb as the bias wrecker plus Umji plus 3, but you will be just amazed at Yerin in that episode.
