i don't think people will ever understand how much that simple gesture means to me. When Katy extends her hand to the other woman, and she doesn't even think and just goes for it, finally releasing her of her unhappy, abusive relationship and finding her true self... the emotion conveyed in this animation... their expressions, they tell so much and I feel so warm when she spreads her wings.

I love everything about this. But especially how that man is so offended when his wife takes the witch’s hand after he waved her away! Lol. It’s like he wasn’t expecting her to take her hand!

Whoever was animating this should go work on full animated shows

I remember being so touched reading a comment on this video when Katy released SMILE. The man shared about his late wife and the her journey fighting with COVID-19. At the end, she didn’t make it, Daisies was the last song they listened together before she got into ICU. He said his wife would have loved the record if she had listened to it. This story will forever stay in my mind. God bless him ❤

I've lost count of how many times I've watched this since it came out. The song itself is nice, the lyrics flow and fit well together, the rhythm keeps the listener engaged, and personally, just like other tracks from Smile, I find it empowering. As for the storyline, it really shows how much someone can achieve if they choose to start a journey and keep at it, no matter the obstacles. As some say, life is a climb, but the view is always great, just like this song and video. Also, the fact that it captures magic, mystery, and adventure, all in the spirit of Halloween on one side, and life itself on the other, makes it all the more enjoyable to watch. Witch Katy was, lost, but she made a choice. And so started her whimsical adventure into the unknown, all because she chose to face her truth, and to quote the song's title, Cry about it later (if she really needs to, that is).

I'm not a huge katy perry fan, but I like how in the end the witch girl finds the angel girl, and she sees that she's someone who understands her pain. she goes from person to person searching for someone to make her forget the pain but instead she finds someone she can navigate that pain with and heal with and I think that's beautiful.
