Hey guys, this is what singing while dancing ACTUALLY sounds like!! It’s anything but perfect, but they’re still hitting those notes while exhausting themselves. Kudos to them!
And actually chaewon and yunjin high note were very very good I was so impressed

Most groups aren’t allowed to lipsync on this music show BUT what’s more surprising is groups are still allowed to have a prerecorded track as long as they are still singing live over it.
Lesserafim don’t seem to be using a full pre-recorded track here. It’s actually fully live and you can hear their movements on the mic and them stopping at points to breathe. Not editing. Not many groups do this. Well done girls!

people should realise that singing low notes while dancing is a lot harder than singing high notes. notice how they become more stable in the pre chorus and that's cuz the part is higher. with this kind of song and with this kind of choreo, having shaky/unstable vocals is natural.. like it's bound to happen no matter how good of a singer you are.

Why do you justify their unstable vocals? As vocalists training for their debut for several years, they should be able to sing steadily and dance at the same time. Let's stop normalizing this lack of talent. Besides, you are wrong, low tones are easier to control than high tones because your voice won't break. Let's start with the fact that in the pre-chorus they do not sing, because they played backing track that is so loud. A girl who sings unstably a few lines earlier suddenly has a perfect vocal? No, it doesn't work that way.

Many kpop groups song live but its less obvious because they also use backtrack while singing. Its very clear here because the backtrack is very low

I've never heard actual BREATHING in any kpop live stage ever. wow
most of artist sing live just that for youtube they tend to manipulate the sound and video so that for example the air that you can hear in the microphone cant be heard, the most lazy ones just remove the audio and change it with the track audio and thats all, if you think about it that is not really a problem being honest, there is a lot of people that doesnt like to have to hear the air in the microphone or the movement of this, not even the heavy breathing when they are singing, theres people like that too, not because they are supposed to be perfect just doesnt like to hear those, but yeah most of the groups actually sing live and have these kind of sounds, more with those mics, thats why mamamoo doesnt like those kind of mics

Singing while dancing is hard even thought it is a part of their job. No one can master it in just short period of time. We all work hard to improve day by day so be nice

Just found out that this LIVE stage was actually some kind of broadcast accident, that's why we can hear their voice, breath, & footsteps clearly. So this wasn't intentional at all, yet they still nailed the performance.

This choreo is ridiculously hard and requires so much stamina, so that fact that they did this completely live like this is kinda insane, the girls are shining!
EDIT - Eunchae revealed in an interview with Music Bank, before she became MC, that this was a broadcast mistake. It seems like their mic feed was accidentally aired instead of the audio from the stage, which means they are always live, it's just that the sounds on earrings should not be heard, this is what they can hear from their in-ears so it's rare to get to hear it so live for us. Still I think this was good

Really depends on your voice imo, my voice is on the deeper end for females (even a handful of Taemin choruses are too high for me) and this chorus is right in my natural super comfortable range

THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL A LIVE PERFORMANCE! They didn’t tone down the choreo or anything, still performed it with the same energy as they did for the very first stage while singing completely live! So brave and powerful for a group that has just debuted and gone through soooo much. Y’all are so used to loud back tracks that you think this is not good enough …. This is amazing, it’s authentic and it shows how you really sound while doing such intense choreo and singing at the same time.

Fearless has low notes specially in the chorus and rap which is were they sound shakier, you can clearly hear they sound better and more stable during prechorus. Singing low notes while dancing is way harder than singing high notes. Still, there’s no need to mention other ggs when this is Le sserafim.

@Lily there's been a ton of evidence that verify her being a bully tho. It even caused a stir because of the severity of her bullying (level 5,out of 9 iirc). Most of international fans and kfans agree that they won't be supporting if Garam stays, which says a lot about the severity of her actions and how irrefutable the accounts/evidences on her being a bully are.
I for one definitely won't be supporting if she's still there next cb. I can't support a group that has someone that pushed someone to the brink of unaliving themselves.

Yunjin is clearly weak on the lower notes but as soon as she hit the high registers, she sounds like a goddess !
Sakura breathing is almost perfect. She controls her breathing to the sound of her singing to make it sound good. VERY good technique.

It's great to hear live vocals instead of a prerecording that a lot of people mistake as being live. Just the fact that they went ahead and did this and did it pretty well considering the choreography and the low pitch of the song is pretty incredible. Fearless indeed!
how do you differentiate between live and lip sync? I can hardly tell
@@AliaAlisah for me its if you can hear the breathing (can still be pre recorded), if the noises of the jewelry they wear(if any), and if like this one, i can literally hear each of then steps and their throat is moving ... I can be wrong but this is my observation,
@@AliaAlisah usually lives will always sound a little worse than studio, even if they sing amazingly well. There's more background noise, like heavy breathing, jewelry clinging, clothes rustling, etc. Also their voices will sound more raw and u can hear the backtrack or just the music if they pause to take a breather
Months later, I still return to this video. Hearing their raw voices and the hours of practice they’ve done to perform in this true form felt very connecting. :) Le Sserafim, be who you are! :D Everyone did amazing!
They really ARE fearless!!! I love seeing idols sing live while dancing, it's not easy! Britney lip synced often for the same reason. I love Le Sserafim. They are so talented and their message is great 🖤

of course there's flaws! but we prefer to hear these flaws and the breathing instead of the official audio which they always sound the same, right? this way we also can recognise their voices more ❤️

This stage should be acknowledged as a reference for what live singing (with a minimum backtrack) while dancing sounds like. it is not perfect and it's fine because it is humanely impossible to be moving around constantly and sing flawlessly.

To be fair, this is one of the rawest live performances I've seen for awhile. This does remind me of the old days when idols sang live every performance.

The way this performance feels like MR Removed video at the point there's only a tiny amount of backtrack. This is 'the most live singing' stage of 4th gen girl groups I've ever watched. This is how live singing works. You'll hear the imperfection, no matter how great the idol is. Imperfectly perfect. Imagine hitting some notes while spinning or jumping around. If there's anyone who throws hate or malicious comments on these girls for this performance, just admit that you're so used to polished pre-recorded vocals, auto-tuned studio vocals, and having too high expectations or obsessing over perfectionism.

This is for all the people that keeps criticising them for never singing live. Yes this performance is far from perfect and they sound unstable at times but they are a new group and most importantly, they still attempted live singing. The first step is always the hardest and one day they'll get so good that even the haters will have to acknowledge their hard work and talent. Also i've been a Kkura fan for years but even i was surprised at how deep her voice is here. I know she has a naturally low and deep voice since she sang like that in a few izone songs but wtf gurl, never knew kkura has an inner felix straykidz in her lol 🤣🤣🤣

Im not being negative here but IT IS POSSIBLE. For example is their labelmates, if you have watched some of BTS concert full video, its amazing. I don’t think y’all realize how insanely difficult it is to sing in a lower range while dancing. If anything it’s so much easier to sing in a high mid range while dancing (speaking from experience). The girls did great and y’all always talk about “how you’d rather have a live performance with imperfections than a perfect lipsynched stage” so I better not see any hate.

I did a cappella for 2 years and when we had to do choreo (which wasn’t as intense as this) it was so hard to sustain stable notes and stay in tune, especially in our lower registers. and most of my group was made of vocal music majors. I bet the ppl trashing them for the live singing can’t even go on a brisk walk and keep their voice stable lmao
