Notice how they balance being sexy and creative here. And it came out natural and confident. They even showed that girls can be both feminine and cool.
At the end, Unit Black was surprised they got higher score because they knew the performance of the Unit Red was way more better. (That's my opinion.)

honestly i think it’s because the three girls who played “the boys” in this story didn’t get to show off their dancing skills since they’re all main dancers but everything else was really good in terms of show presence

I don't know why team black won honestly. I think team red did a way better job while team black only gave a sexy performance, team red had a whole story. TBH this was really unfair. Just because team black had popular members like Euijin, Hyunjoo doesn't mean they have to win everytime.
Black team won because they danced, this team wasted too much time with the plot and walking around instead of actually dancing, and they turned the best dancers into back up dancers who only served as props for the others. Joohyun is the best and she was given the least spotlight possible. And their styling was ugly, those poor girls who played the boys look so bad.

Mau Villalon I think the reason why she is not that popular is because the Unit is a programm for "failed" artists and Joohyun is still a trainee. She would have been a better fit on another show.
MeiLiRose _ she's not the only trainee there.. Lee Bolim is a model who had no performing experience before joining the show, yet she ranks higher than Joohyun..

I know, but they are all already part of the industry. I think Joohyun can't built up more sympathy with the viewers, because she is a trainee and still has her whole career before her. She also doesn't struggle with the missions, since she already has a decently developed set of skills. The unit is not her "last" chance, she is not under the same pressure as the others and while there are some rookies they know how to act to gain attention. Just my opinion tho.

Juhyun deserved way better the whole freaking competition, but I get she's way younger than the others and have scars that she doesn't and that since she's the maknae she 'has to' adjust to the hierarchy but for real, the baby is super :'c (glad she will debut with a new group)

GlazingStar your everywhere! You obviously took offense but Idk why. I looked at both performances and tbh the black team did NOT do better. All they did was slow sexy moves. It was dull and not as busy. If you compete you need to bring your a game. I expected the black team to change the song and bring something different then going on the ground and giving looks but they did not. I was surprised that after all the movement red team Did, their chemistry as a group and how they literally did not stop moving throughout the whole song until the end. They should have won. I think black won because their sexy which is a shame because it wasn't better dance wise
Everything is actually not "fair and square". KBS gives different people different amounts of air time which doesn't give the other participants a chance to show themselves. Mint got so little air time compared to Eujin. How do you not know this stuff?? What are you, like 12??

this team was so much better overall and i think they pulled of the sexy dance better than the other group. The black team got better in the second half of its choreo and that's what was memorable to me but this team was good beginning to end. The only shame is that they didn't use the strong dancers as much the 'boys' barely danced i think if they used more of juhyun's style of dancing at least at the break down it would have boasted them up more.

im 2 years late but this is what i call a *PERFORMANCE* . This has story, creativity, talent and most importantly ORIGINALITY. Performing isnt simply dancing really good. It's the overall image. In all honesty, the opponent team's performance was unorganized.

No they were not, they walk more than they dance, they ruined the visuals with horrible baggy clothes and most importantly they turned the best dancers into back up dancers.
danax2007 baggy clothes don’t ruin a visual. They’re costumes, and the walking usually doesn’t make any difference during a performance unless the judges are just that picky. But most profesional dancers even walk and have moments of when they’re doing something other than dancing. They did do a lot of walking tho. But seeing as most Koreans prefer sexy over visual, it’s not that surprising.

Og. BiBi but they were doing sexy dance too! they just choose to give the dance parts to half of the team while the others stood in the back looking like props. In this specific case they made mistakes and they fairly lost. The editing helped them but when watching the fancam its pretty obvious.
