Not all the big groups do so well. Exo, for some reason, doesn't seem to be that entertaining when on talk shows.
James Rawlins you can't use EXO as example, variety skill don't come with popularity or success, EXO are entertaining, it just most of them are more reserved & passive, but their recent appearance in Knowing Brother receive so much good feedback from Netizen.
While I thought Exo did ok on Knowing Brothers, the fact that they are reserved and passive is what holds them back as great guests for shows like Happy Together and Knowing Brothers. (I love Exo btw). That's why SNSD is so wonderful on those shows because they need little prompting - they are just naturally outgoing and make ideal guests. Btw - this isn't just for Kpop - you can see it on American talk shows were some talented people aren't the best guests while others just kill it every time.

You can see the difference when SNSD is in variety show and another girlgroup.. they are so relax.. sit like they all in a living room have casual conversation with their guest.. another girlgroup will be so focus that they look stiff.. SNSD is a living legend, everything about them, especially their friendship.. I'm not SONE, but I'm a hardcore fans of them.. hwaiting SNSD, hope we all will watch SNSD as the girl in a variety show 10yrs from now, celebrating their 20yrs anniversary.. yeah but that's the difference they are legends! and an older group they have the comfort to do that now that they are older. Younger groups have a lot of pressure to not say anything bad especially girl groups and when it comes to girl groups drinking.

I wish girl groups nowadays realize that it's okay to be more active (or even being crazy) on variety shows and their company doesn't forbid them to do so cause apparently the audiences LOVE IT. We can see SNSD here and we love it. Korean audiences seems to love it too. I mean, MAMAMOO also being crazy and funny and they're still quite popular.

I see a lot of questions here regarding Sooyoung not using unnie to her older members. This is why: Back when they were trainees, Sooyoung is one of the older trainees so she is always spending time with other older trainees. Taeyeon, Tiffany, Sunny, Yuri, Yoona, and Seohyun came SM later than Sooyoung did. This is why she never call the older members unnie, and also why Yoona calls her unnie even though they are both 90-liners.
Yuri Sangja not really. is because sooyoung is an early 90-liner (feb). with korean age system people born between jan and feb are same-age friends with the ones born a year before in sooyoung's case - all the 89-line girls. yoona and seohyun are considered the maknaes for that reason
Pasita Ha actually yuri sanja is correct in one of the variety shows, she explained why she doesn't call the 89 liners unnie... Jessica, hyoyeon, yuri and sooyoung were trainees together, they attended the same classes and went to the same grade so she didn't call them unnie.. later tiffany, taeyeon, yoona, seohyun and sunny joined them... 😊 I miss soshi 0t9 they are jang!! 💖💖💖

I love how relax and funny they were since from their debut. If you'll watch their past variety shows, they are just relax, natural, entertaining and funny. They know how to set up the mood, when to say jokes or when to keep quiet so that others may have their time to share their stories. They are not shy to do some crazy and stupid things, they still have their silly and dorky sides. No wonder why variety shows are really willing to wait for them to become their guest like Weekly Idol when they said they waited years for SNSD. ❤❤

Snsd is the first group i stand and watched in variety shows. And so i always thought all kpop groups are funny and entertaining, but after 7 years of being a kpop fan i can say that SNSD is still the best in variety shows.

So proud to be a Sone since the day they debut 5082007. This is y SNSD is the most DAEBAK girl group in not only the Kpop world but also in the K variety entertainment. Never have i once not laugh at their appearance in any K variety show. They dun need to TRY coz they r alr naturally n spontaneously funny. What i love the most when it comes to K variety show especially ia their adaptibility in whatever show they r in. If u guys watch their shows then u know what i mean. U will be constantly laughing yr ass off. So, this is what other hoobae gg have 2 learn from their sunbae/unnie SNSD. Nowadays, never gg force themselves to be funny. Also, SNSD's presence is special n unique that no other group can ever have. I dunno but their presence makes whatever show they were invited to so much enjoyable n funny 2 watch. TheShawa37 Nope still Sunny... it's just that she doesn't drink as much as she used to. I was the same before I was 21 I would down like 3/4 bottles of Vodka mixed with anything from Jacks to Whiskey to winecoolers... after I turned 21 I didn't drink as hard. I can still pull it away but I'm a extreme Social Drinker now. I say extreme meaning that it takes a lot for me to drink now even if I'm surrounded by alcohol I prefer not to drink. Only on very rear occasions I would.

My friend chose Malay or english song, but then I'm the only one select ballad song, moreover Korean ballad x'D. They will be quite give up with me. HAHAHA I will choose either 2-3 korean song and singing it while they're sitting without any hype listening to my song as they are not kpoppers like me.
