Jessi would be welcome at all the BBQ's in my neighborhood. There are a lot of hood Korean women so no one would hate her. No one would say a darn thing about her being Korean and not blk. We cool like that. I don't get why they hated so hard on her.

The hosts were shocked when they saw jessi, and even said they made a wrong choice. I was saddened by thier comments, but maybe b'coz they know jessi as a tough woman. Jessi can get along with other people, she knows who to talk gently and harsly. And as what she said she loves children and knows how to play with them. She may be tough as what you've seen, but she also have soft side of her and even cute side of her.

So to koreans she must seem even more american..and with that comes all the negative steryotypes about us...and its worse for her because she is ethnically korean so they will always judge her more harshly than they would judge any non korean american.

It's almost like women can't be multidimensional. God forbid someone have a stage persona for their music AND like kids. Why are they so quick to criticize. I feel so bad for the stigma surrounding Jessi just because she isn't the most conventional and conservative Korean doll idol people are used to. She stands up for herself and is super real.
People in the comments are also being quick to criticize. The hosts clearly don't know much about Jesse other than the fact that she's a hiphop artist, which doesn't exactly have a "good for watching young children" image. Towards the end you can see they start warming up to her. This is a 3 minute clip from an episode that's likely almost an hour long, don't be so quick to condemn the hosts.

They warmed up to her towards the end. Her music and style don't really give off the best first impression when you're hosting a show about watching young children. Exactly. The hosts made some harsh comments likely because they've only heard things about Jesse's music and her image. The impression she gives off initially doesn't seem like someone who should be watching young children, but towards the end you can see the panel is starting to understand why Jesse was cast.
