It’s annoying that they call him a cheapskate but don’t you ever think that he likes to cook for the ppl he loves and cares about. It’s not about the price of the food but the importance of quality time with his employees. I love this show! ❤️

Personally I think that she's just so precious though the slowness can be quite annoying. Also the panel keep on being in shock and complaining that she eats so much when they don't understand bodybuilder's work. Even if she got high metabolism she's also in a competition ffs.

AlohaKIG lol r u serious? Ramen is super high in sodium and calories. It’s not even good cholesterol, it’s stuff that’s not good for you body. Of course they would be surprised to see them eating ramen. And even then they’re only doing it because they’re off season.

It's just Korean culture to tease about things like that. This kind of stuff is taken really lightheartedly. They know he's wealthy and he spends, but it's just a joke and frugal spending is his reputation. I see a lot of comments saying the hosts are disrespectful and stuff, but that just Korean humor. People watching from outside of Korean culture are far more sensitive about those comments. Also, translations are usually more literal and somethings aren't able to be fully understood in the same context.

My mom used to own a store and an eatery when I was in high school so she had 4-5 employees. For the first two years, there have been a lot of employee changes but this one employee resembles Dongeun. She was slow in doing tasks and chores too; she has to be ordered around and checked on when performing a task. She also wasn't very mindful of her surroundings; there was a time a fight broke out outside our store because of some drunkards and out glass door was smashed, but when we asked her she couldn't relay the story very well.
Growing up in an Asian household, I learned the hard way that my mom isn't the type to tolerate this kind of behavior and work ethic. But she never fired her. It was because out of all other employees, she was honest and not cunning, and reliable in that aspect.

It’s just how it is for Korean shows like this. You can tell if you watch more Korean tv shows like hello councilor. It’s so common that if you get easily frustrated by rude talking and remarks for comedy it’s better to just not watch and find a different genre

I love boss yang, in this show you began to understand why he saves so much money. He feeds his employees constantly and fits the bill for their food. He also owns the business and rents that bulding. During covid they almost lost it all. But because he always saves money, he wasnt hit as hard when they even shut down for covid.
He lost his first business and it was stolen by an old friend. It was that experience that made him save money and be more direct. But having those qualities created him to be more open and direct with employees and even encourage them to one day open thei own gyms.
