Idk why LeeGyunggyu cant see the reason why Janggun is so chubby. He is always the first in the line for food and using his size to push other dogs out of his way. Definitely making him very territorial. The “bullied”ones Kuma and Buku(?) is so small cause they barely eat as much. Isnt it obvious its because of the uneven food distribution? But i am happy Mr Kang pointed it out
I dont mean to judge, but it still surprises me how people in Korea (and Im sure many other countries) raise dogs. I guess keeping dogs as pets is more of a new thing there. As mentioned in Germany and also Norway where I am from it is actually the LAW that you have to walk your dog at least twice a day, and most people walk their dogs 3-4 times or more. You should also never leave your dog alone more than 8h, so that means if you work fulltime with a commute you need someone to look after the dog during the day or at least stop by and take it for a walk. Peeing and pooping inside is unheard of even on potty pads, unless you have a young puppy thats not completely potty trained yet. If the dog pees inside it means you dont walk it often enough... I think shows like this is great, hopefully people will become more educated and take better care of their dogs :D I really do think most people love their dogs, but some just dont know any better.

The potty pads are probably solution of Korea's lack of land. People in big cities usually live in apartments and it's very inconvenient to go outside just to poop...

@@msal9602 It is the price of having a dog tho. You can just take the dog around the apartment building for 15-20 min that is good enough and then for morning or evening walks you can take longer routes. It is not like SK is the only country with apartments lol
The norms of a country cannot change in a day, but it is obvious that it is must better for the dog to get out for walks several times a day rather than being indoors. Aside from laws about how often you should go out with the dog, the recommendation also states that if you have a dog that lives permanently in a garden or such, you should take it for walks elsewhere at least a couple times a day.

I used to not like Lee Kyungkyu (in that jtbc show🙁), but after watched this series randomly, my impression has change and now i start watching it from the 1st episode🎉 Somehow i really feel like he don't match that well with people and i know sometimes he's annoying bcs it's his way of 'joking', but he sure funny and kind!✨✨

Lee Kyungkyu is like that old-fashioned know-it-all neighborhood haraboji that wants to be respected because he's old but doesn't really extend the same courtesy to younger people. I hope this show changes my impression of him.
He obviously loves dogs but I don't think he gives them respect as much.
Gosh I hate his on-screen personality tbh. Not sure if he's like off-screen as well but I'll totally avoiding him in real life, just because I know him and I are gonna have a lot of arguments regarding treating people nicely.
He likes to say whatever he thinks without much thinking but I like to think before I speak.
Somehow I also hate his on-screen personality hahah. I think it also because everyone treat him as Senior in this entertainment industry.. but, I am very glad He meet Teacher Kang.... Teacher Kang really treat His student just like student or rookie.. and really take this show seriously, since it also about his job, his pride.
After watching some episode of show (I am watching it backward, since I meet the show from ep 20s), Imo, LKK start to listen and learn a lot from Teacher Kang...
He complain a lot, but accept the reality too hahaha... I hope He continue to learn despite his senior age, because when you learn something you have to be serious and respect the teacher.

I did not know a show like this existed. Thank you to Master In The House for featuring Master Kang which made me searched for more contents related to him as a top-notch dog trainer.

Love this kind of show. There are a lot of people who gets dog but don't know how to train and take care of them so when they got older and have some behavior issue its the dogs fault and are abandoned. So that people will know what they should do.

Same here in Switzerland. I have dogs too and we go out with them 4 times a day! It’s a must because that’s how they go potty and get exercise and fresh air
Exactly! Same in Poland, 3-4x times a day is a must :/ Keeping poor dogs indoors all day is just not fair :/

Wouldn't be surprised if she ends up learning faster than he does. She has the right attitude as a student. On the other hand, you wouldn't learn anything if all you wanted to do is be acknowledged when you actually knew nothing.

I wish I had an oportunity to learn from him, I would love to be able to help shelter dogs and train them to help them get adopted 😊

Nice show, exciting concept, but it was so shocking to see dogs without a tail!! 😭😢
This barbaric procedure is called "tail-docking" - it means that they cut of the tail of the puppy! And ONLY for looks, no medical reason. I truely wish for this show to continue, because it teaches a lot, but please make sure to not show dogs that have been docked or ear-cropped. In the EU it is luckily forbidden now and I hope Korea will forbid it too. If you really love dogs, you dont need to cut parts off of them.

I'm not a 100% sure (not an expert so i'm really not sure), but the two dogs in the show could be Pembroke welsh corgis, this specific breed of corgis are born without tails. However, you are correct in pointing out that a lack of tails in Cardigan welsh corgis could be the result of tail docking. In the past, where corgis were used as cattle herding dogs, they would dock the tails so the cattle wouldn't step of them, but nowadays where the corgis aren't being used as cattle herders, there shouldn't be a reason to dock their tails..it's quite frankly absurd how some believe that it's more aesthetically pleasing to dock a dogs tail. Cardigan welsh corgi have adorable tails... why would they want to dock them 😢

Yes, Lee Kyungkyu loves dogs but I don't like the way he treats his dogs; pulled it, use only one bowl, yell at your dogs and most important don't remember their names is the most disrespect thing for me. Lee Yubi made my blood boiled because she obviously has zero knowledge about dog but I'm pretty sure she will be better in the future.
You should watch the next episodes of this show, they have improved much better!

I know each culture is different but if someone would treat and care for their dogs like that (not walking them regularly - once a day sounds like a joke, you should do it at least 2x a day, perfect if it's 3-4x times a day, letting them pee indoors and so on)... Well, it's very different indeed. You've got A LOT to learn, South Korea...
