@@parkerhynson3581 Actually, the movie is more about the lead dwarf seeing Snow White's as herself being something beautiful rather than seeing the disguise that he saw her earlier (in the trailer). Snow White is pretty comfortable being herself, but noticed some biaseness by people around her whenever she puts on the red shoes.
Okay for those who are wondering, a few years ago there was an advertisement for this movie that prompted fat shaming and it got a lot of bad rep. Of course that is not how this movie turns out, it was just either miscommunication or the fault of the advertisement department. The movie has such a wonderful message and is really worth the watch, so if you have the time please watch it. 💕

This movie is really great guys! It got bad press but it's really about accepting who you are (red shoes) and learning true meaning of beauty/flaws (dwarfs/fantastic 7) the soundtrack is great also!

I'm so excited they released it digitally! It's such a cute movie, with the voice acting and the character designs. Really a shame about the scandal, given the direction the story takes (though to be fair I was one of those super skeptical watchers who thought, based on the old trailers, it'd be more raunchy then it was). Definitely one of my fav comfort movies!

There was bad market for the movie. A poster made it look like the film was about fat shaming because the shoes makes the princess thinner, but the movie actually has a good message about being beautiful the way you are.

Movies like this shouldn't exist.

It's not like they eat junk food and sweets all day, they eat healthy but still gain weight because their body would just take the fat and sugar from anything it finds; even the fruit and vegetables.
I know you're actually criticizing the unhealthy type of obesity that it's caused by people who don't take care of themselves, but don't forget that that's not the only factor to obesity. For many people, it's not a choice, that's just how their bodies are.

I think this is a really good movie! It has an amazing message and wonderful characters. I especially love Merlin and Snow White/ Red Shoes. I think this movie would have been popular if it wasn't for bad advertising.
THERE IS NO FAT SHAMING IN THIS MOVIE! It's actually the opposite. Snow White/ Red Shoes actually loves her real self compared to her magical/skinny self, she is not at all insecure about herself. In fact, I love how confident she is about herself.
Merlin is probably the most insecure character in this movie. He is all about appearances and good looks. He thinks the only positive characteristic he has is his handsome face. Like, he thinks people only like him because he is a handsome prince. That being said, he is a narcissistic and self-centred character. But still, he is an interesting and enjoyable character, too.
