Hey, it’s Claire.
A while back, I brought home a mother cat and her two kittens from an animal shelter, as their listing period was almost over. In some Korean animal shelters, abandoned or homeless animals may be euthanized if they are unable to find another home by the end of their listing period due to a lack of space or resources. As the family didn’t seem to have anywhere else to go, I decided to take them in for the time being.
On their first day, the kitties were very wary of me, and boy, did they smell! The mother cat wouldn’t even use the litter box or eat food at first. Now, they’ve all warmed up to me. The mother cat will eat treats off my hand, and all three will come up to greet me in when I enter their room. Plus, I’ve been washing them with wet towels, so they don’t smell quite as bad now.
In order to accommodate my new guests, I gave them my bedroom, so I’ve been sleeping in the storage room since then. Meanwhile, my seven kitties are always waiting outside the door because they’re curious about the new guests.
Currently, I haven’t been able to decide on where they will stay or even their names. I’ll make sure to put up a notice when a decision has been made!

Breaks my heart to see how love-starved the mother cat is (1:34), rushing to have her head petted by Claire. Yes, it's heartbreaking that there are so many homeless animals out there. Just went to an animal shelter myself the other day and I felt sad the rest of the day having witnessed so many love-starved cats. One of them, a one-eyed cat alone in an enclosure, was so desperate to be touched that he kept reaching out with one paw. It's heartening that there are good souls like Claire around ... with Lulu providing some comic relief!

You need to realize that if a pet catches *CERTAIN* illnesses, conditions, or diseases that are *INCURABLE*, then technically this is called *SUFFERING*.
Can you imagine seeing a pet SUFFERING from a disease that does NOT have a cure?
That pet won’t have TIME before a cure is found and made. You KNOW how long that takes.
I’m NOT saying the cat in the video has diseases that are incurable. I’m saying, assuming a pet has an illness that is incurable, Will you be ok if a pet suffer?

Knowing that Nana, Toto and Dodo got adopted into the clan, it’s nice to come back and see how much the twins have grown. Though it’s hard to see Dodo’s white curved forehead, you can tell them apart now.

It's wonderful how the cats were initially wary of Claire, but now, every time Claire's hand/arm goes near the mom cat it's like the mom cat's head is being magnetized towards Claire, wanting to be patted. Lol

So far, from Claire's Instagram, the kitties and DD have met already. I was already thinking that if any cat would get introduced to the new kitties first it would be DD. Now DD will have little DD friends for the time being lol

If the translating watcher in the comments was correct from the recent live stream archived, DD met the kitten only because the kitten escaped the room and found DD. Luckily DD is chill with suddenly having another little sibling and didnt act aggressively at all.

Apparently one of the kittens escaped and met DD. He was chill with the kittens which is a very good sign for the babies. DD probably thought the kitten was his baby considering how the kittens look like him without the floof. I don't know how mom would be though 😥

Claire has such a beautiful soul. She adopted the little babies bc they had no place to go but she already has 7 to take care of. Shes devoted her life to her cats she barely has any time for herself. Its rare to find people like Claire nowadays. 💖💖💖

As of now it is still unclear if claire is going to adopt them or has already done so as taking care of 10 cats is just incredibly hard and it's more likely that she is sheltering them until she finds them a new home

Claire already does so much for her 7 kitties, plus all she does to share them with us.
As wonderful a cat mom as she is, taking in 3 more does come at a cost, financial and time. Only Claire can decide if she should permanently adopt them.

People in neighborhoods towns cities everywhere it needs must neuter and speud cats .
Sadly, euthanizing shelters are more common than the shelter/rescue organizations that do not do that. Please spay/neuter your pets.
