I was happy but also upset. Happy to see them on the same set and acting together. I was about to be upset cause I’ve never heard of this show before and I thought they were going to play it like Fran and Max’s marriage didn’t end well and divorced 😢 But turns out it’s not a continuation of the Nanny so I’m good! Lol
I feel like this show just ignores obvious age gaps. Fran is like 60, Charles Shaughnessy is 60ish, Ryan McPartlin is 40 something, and the kids are close to 30. It doesn’t seem to add up.
Well it's not supposed to be a sequel or the same thing. It's a different show. And it also came out during a time when a lot of good shows premiered, so of course, it wasn't as successful as The Nanny. And Ryan McPartlin was still very inexperienced back then. For a show with only two veteran actors I'd still say it's not as bad as people make it out to be. Even if some of these jokes admittedly haven't aged well.😅

It's absoulutely wasteful, they shouldn't use such a scenario. The Nanny was great, Happily divorced was great too, they should stick with these two.
