I think you've really over-reduced their music to one aspect of what you think they're singing about. Not every song is about relationships or love--some of them are a lot more about self. I think you've bent some of the songs, like Boombayah, to try to fit the narrative you've decided on. BP and all women are more than their relationships, and not every song that mentions them is ABOUT them. And DDU-DU DDU-DU is just.....not about about in a relationship...like...at all.

In the scene where Jisoo in black shoots an arrow, she was actually shooting it towards herself (Jisoo in white). Similar to Rosé's scene, she kills the innocent and weak part of herself that has clung on to the toxic relationship.

I think Jisoo shot herself with the arrow as she sang "I can't stand myself being so weak". So it's kind of like a stronger version of herself emerged that killed off the weak one. Same way Rosé ran herself over with the car.

The guy who produced their music is Teddy, and he himself was also a hip-hop singer like 20 years ago. He produced another k-pop sensation 2NE1 as well at YG entertainment, and I highly recommend you I AM THE BEST from 2NE1. Even Emma Stone talked about them in the show! You will never regret :p

It's inspired by traditional Korean king's parade song Daechita. There are unique instruments and tunes of Korea and M/V is also very well made. The lyrics are pretty much all written Korean, so might not be easy. But I can insure you that it would be worth watching.

That's what BLACKPINK unique from all the kpop groups. They don't have to be (trying) hard but kills you by their confidence and swag. One more thing, their songs have more, more, more, going on, you can't do but curious and want some more. So lots of fans are excited everytime BLACKPINK do their comeback even it takes a year, we are going to wait.
