But when he revealed himself at the end of the King of Mask Singer he said, when he sung ''Family Portrait'' he was thinking about his two members that went off into the army, it gave more meaning and emotion behind the words as I re-listen to the song, I fell in love all over again. I am not a K-pop person. Honestly, I feel that the idols are over-rated, atleast vocally- they do make up for it in a lot of other ways, though. But, music, for me, is primarily about vocals. This man truely is something. What a vocalist! I hope he does not stay trapped in a genre and goes on to produce the songs that can truly showcase his vocal ability and range.

You can def check out his songs with his group Winner. He wrote and produce most of their songs and their albums contain various genre from ballad, trap, pop punk, to hip hop and many more. Their songs often top SK music chart due to not only fandom power but also the general public! If your prefer KSY as a solo, you can check out his debut song It Rains or an OST Golden Slumber. Unfortunately he doesn't have a solo album yet. But he recently appears in other KBS shows like War of Villains and Yoo Heyeol's Sketchbook.

Even now, my "skeptical" of KPop wave still on my little side and always becomes my standard to get to know and valuing the idols from the beginning.
These days idols becoming not "afraid" anymore to keep on the microphone during live stages because it's not only their braveness to show their vocal but based on technology makes it more easy to happen and help the idols to perform like a real live performer whereas the fact is still going on the sounds & voices at the back where usually mostly we can heard it but a lot of fans looks like ignoring and believes that they did it clean.
Talent is talent but these days I found it the facts from KPop (not only idols) is such an ironic "drama" and show to us how actually they can build the "talent" and where one of them show some "unusual" people starting calling them as a genius, an artist, etc which is basically and usually we've got from the real community. I mean in KPop, I think the fans becomes the judges for everything that they believe is the most right thing to thinking.
Sadly, that's the most reason people still looks down at KPop and Korean music generally. The government and public take their portion over the real marketplace. They're people who is the one that create and bringing the markets itself. So, yeah becomes like the good standard is only around them and people from the outside of KPop worlds usually call it as overrated because of that situation, the fans the market and people around judging them for themselves and somehow ignoring another situation and keeps making another situation more just because to feels comfort and thinking that they're already do the right things.
Myself not that hate to listen the KPop music because I like some people and groups but it doesn't I would love for all of their music just because I'm a fan. I need the reason to love the music. I came from the era where I can choose the subject over the same object. I mean I like and becomes a fan of people but I can use my choice to decide is it necessary for me to buy the album or not because I feels that my money is should be worth it even just for a small amount that is right now had the same price with 1 official photo cards of the idols.

YG Artists set my standards high that I can't stan other artist when they aren't good as them. They have the best artists. They just dont showcase visuals, they focus on talent.

This is my first time listening to Kang Seungyoon and just, wow. What a unique voice of depth. Give this man OSTs and musicals. He could do it all.

Seungyoon is unpredictable. Unpredictable Good. His range is wide. He has different sides in singing even only one song!!! It makes the audiences curious more about his limit in singing.
He definitely deserved to be crowned 6 times as king. Im sure he could've went longer and won some more. His vocal has always had its own tune and color. It always hits you hard. β‘β‘β‘β‘β‘β‘β‘
