Jessi still has that โfreeโ personality that makes her unique, but I feel like sheโs toned it down a little recently and has found a lot of success. Iโm happy for her. I know it mustโve been a little difficult at times to work in Korea while operating against their norms.

Like she said the culture is very different i get what you're saying but her character is very different than what koreans usually are like๐this is not hate but just saying that this wasn't their norm. But now thankfully because of her character she is quite loved and very famous in korea:)) Also tattoos are seen as like a taboo in Korea...remember the West is different from the east:) very. So things that are "normal" in america or in the west, may not be in Korea, for example, tattoos and doing drugs. Smoking weed and shit is seen as nothing in the west now but not in Asia. Im sure Jessi is used to hearing this it's been more than 10 years lol.

What I noticed was in korean shows Jessi's overall looks and persona are considered somewhat edgy, though not in a negative way. seeing her on all these shows and even on her own, iโm surprised at how many people have the wrong image of her. sheโs not just the ssenunni. sheโs also such a sweet and loving woman.
It's been tough for her living in Korea. There were a lot of moments when she looked like she was really hurt because of degrading comments some people made in several variety shows. Even in running man last year there was a comment by a regular cast that was a bit over the line just because Jessi commented on a lot of things that she ended up looking clearly hurt even until the rest of the episode. I can't imagine how she was treated outside of the camera โน๏ธ

In my opinion and experience, she talk a lot bcs sge wants to explain. She has many people misunderstanding her so she tends to make herself clear all the time. But people around her might be uncomfortable with that, bcs she can get loud and bossy. She might pose as a burden to them bcs ppl in entertainment business tends to make thing interesting and short but jessi likes talking and making her point clear which can be loud and can make ppl uncomfortable most of the time. I think this is it bcs I'm also like this. I don't like getting misunderstood but the difference between us is that when I explain, in the middle of doing so or just thinking about how to explain it, I have the feeling that they might not want to hear it or I might make things awkward for those listening so even if I'm dying to explain myself, I don't.
