I think part of it is Sungmin is probably just enough older that he can remember when Yena was very sick when she was little and that they almost lost her, so he is perhaps a little nicer to her than some siblings would be and values her more.

Sungmin love yena so much. You can see in his eyes. He almost lost yena due to leukemia (??) when she still young, so he make sure to appreciate her more after that.

I have a 12 year age gap with my brother and we're like that lol He will forever be a baby in my eyes so he knows he can get whatever he wants with me with just a little bit of a cute act. We still kiss and hug each other often, I think it's also important to show that yes siblings can also have an affectionate relationship depending on how you grew up.

I'm always surprised when people say siblings aren't like this. I actually was extremely affectionate to my big sister when I was growing up. I adored her unconditionally and I did everything she told me to do, even though she was mean to me and called me "idiot," as well as more derogatory slurs, instead of my name. I was the only one working and giving her all my money. It wasn't until I was in my late 20s, that I started to wonder why I was so nice to her, when she only insulted me and told me to shut up. That was when I started to rebel against her, and I would not let her insult me, and strangely enough, she now treats me better. So yes, now I guess we're like the "average" sibling relationship

I've noticed this a lot, especially as I watch Korean reality or variety shoes, that they really push this whole narrative of "Siblings hate each other/can't stand the sight of each other in daily life". Like I get it, but anyone who just even remotely stays from that narrative gives way to reactions that are like "That's impossible and unheard of." Like, it's kinda twisted

When I'm at my brother's house, he still cooks and clean for me. I get to watch his kids in return, helping them with homework, make sure they bathe, ect. And I'm 47 so he in his mid 50s.

I always hate how they say “how can you smile like that at your brother/sister”….because that’s her brother and she can do that. I always hate how they always push “siblings are meant to fight and can’t stand each other” not everybody is like that. I really hate when you have a pair of siblings like these two who really love each other and the hosts (if they’ve never seen the other sibling before) try to say “that’s not your brother/sister”. Or they’ll say “brothers and sisters aren’t close like that” like what?? I need them to be a little more open minded that every sibling pair is different.

I've seen in a lot of korean shows and interviews that when someone says they get along well with their siblings they act like it is something impossible. Guys this is a healthy sibling relationship. Just bcs you don't have it doesn't mean others don't have it too. I've born and grew up in a society where siblings do get along very well. I can't relate to some people saying that it is impossible for siblings to be nice to eo. I have an younger brother. He buys me gifts. I cooks food for him. Washes his clothes. If i am feeling unwell he buys me medicines. Even if i am older whenever i does something wrong he'd save me from mother and hear all the scolding by himslef. Every siblings always don't fight with eo. Some are ready to die for eo. I've grown up seeing the love b/w my mom and her siblings. So, i want the same with my sibling too. Before judging others remember that it is not that they are being too much. It is you guys who have an unhealthy relationship with your siblings.

Lol I do that with my brother because we were raised by our mom to love each other. I think its depends on how the environment is. My fam is very affectionate with each other so my dad to my bro😂 but sometimes we get violent sometimes too but in a cute way
