Edit* I didn't mean any hate towards Kaylee, it's just that this line that JYP said to her was going viral, even Kaylee made a joke about it, and he said that because he meant that she is still young and still has a lot to learn, so obviously she is not that good
JYP doesn't hold back, but so honest tho... from all the shows, he picked people that were not that great, but they completely shine... the experience he has at spoting diamonds in the rough is insane... People really need to stop hating on him so much... Obviously he needs to make money, but him making money makes the girls money also, which is something people forget... Kaylee is definitely a diamond in the rough.

Sorry I was in a bit of a rush let me explain it more clearly.
So in the boot camp, jyp kept reminding here about how important confidence is, just like he did in the bts of one of Itzy's songs. He also told her that he thinks she was "born to be a kpop artist", and just a few months after, Itzy's album, "Born to Be" came out.
During "Pop" she was trained and started using to same singing style as Yeji.
And when they were naming dance moves, the monkey was very similar to one of Itzy's choreos.

Kaylee studying taekwondo connected to me because I spent years doing tkd to get my blackbelt, I did the combination of tkd and dance tho we called it forms at my studio and it gives me hope that maybe if I work a little harder maybe one day I’ll achieve greatness like she did 💜
