Jennie Kim this is the reason I hate kpop now. You can’t like anything. I for one love every member equally. 2ne1 has my heart and I love all of them, and I support all there solo activities. Also for blackpink I support all and I don’t shit on the other to lift they other. Same with girl’s generation, love all girls. It’s okay to like and favor one girl, but don’t use leverage to. Bring down the other girls. I’ll say it her park Bom, minzy, CL, Dara, Jennie, jisoo, Rose and lissa are all awesome and I support all of them. and these competitions in ratings don’t mean anything, it’s all about the mark they leave . And 2ne1 left a lot of marks , Blackpink brought there game to America and did very good. Both group offer greatness to kpop world.

Considered by some fans to be the Queens of Kpop for the 2nd generation and were rivaling SNSD , Kara and Tara at that time. 2NE1 was a part of YGE and disbanded in 2016. Dara is apart of YGE while Bom is a part of DNation.

They were just expressing frustration and proving the diversity of the fandom (not knowing Katy didn't attack them). When Armys found out the real reason, most of us told people and reported any actual toxic comment on her. Who messed up were Katy fans and some toxic K-pop fans(only the toxic ones though, I know other K-pop fandoms aren't all like that) who joined joined Katy's hate hashtag. A Katy fan started it because the wanted to give attention to her achievements and toxic K-pop fans joined in. Armys spend hours trying to report the hashtag and telling Katy fans to stop using it. As always they used the excuse that we started it, but as always we had receipts/screenshots that they did. I tried to talk to one of them and asked them why on earth they'd start a hate hashtag against their own artist to promote her instead of a positive one and they couldn't give me a clear answer. Western fandoms are also a mess 🤦
