Like all other life, weaver ants evolved in a crucible where they were pitted against other species in a fight for survival. The universe kind of sucks, but that's not the ants' fault.
They are the nature-loving, treehugging hippies of the ant world. Which tells you a lot about the others. Ants are relentlessly vicious.
Why has no one made an RTS game of this? Imagine playing as a colony of Weaver Ants in a rainforest, and trying to compete with other ant & insect colonies to survive the longest. Maybe one day we'll get a "Total War: Weaver Ants"... At any rate, from immune systems to ant colonies, it's amazing that the battles of the most epic proportions, take place on the tiniest battlegrounds.
Empire of the Undergrowth is one ant RTS game, but as of now it's mostly ground ants and bugs.

I bought and read your immunology book, which was fantastic. Please write an ant book, I think that would also be spectacular. Your writing could be part of something incredible in the education system as well if you expand enough.
I dunno if anybody else has noticed it but Kurzgesagt has drastically improved their animation and graphics.
They almost added another dimension and with the shadow and blurring effects, the video is aesthetically supreme.
