Why the fuck are the comments mentioning Katy Perry? Leave her the fuck alone. This isn't about Katy Perry - this is about Gaga's MUSIC which in case you don't get - is all she gives a fuck about. Before posting comments bashing Katy Perry can you take a second and ask yourself if it really matters if you think Katy Perry is "talentless" (Which she isn't, by the way. Look up her vocal range and training in music). Stop posting shit like "Heh, I'd love to see Katy Perry singing jazz!". Gaga has a jazz background, Katy has an indie rock background. Two very different things. All you're doing by bringing up Katy Perry is causing this whole KatyCat vs Little Monster bullshit again for the millionth time. It's TIRED. Katy Perry and Lady Gaga are both respectable, talented, beautiful, AMAZING women in the music industry. We should be celebrating the music - not fighting over who's the "supreme ruler" because there isn't such thing. As a KatyCat, I love Lady Gaga and think she's incredibly talented. Although I disagree with some of the choices she's made, I would never openly bash someone on the Internet of all places. There's way too much music to be enjoyed to waste any free time I have fighting pointless battles. Comparing Katy Perry to Lady Gaga is like comparing apples and oranges - two delicious fruits with very different flavors. Both are popstars but Katy comes from an indie rock background and Gaga comes from a jazz background so obviously their vocal techniques are gonna be different and obviously one is gonna be able to do things others can't but still, that's no reason to fight. Grow the fuck up because life is too short to be wasting time on stupidities that won't matter when you're 10 feet underground.
I totally agree with you ! (I'm a Gaga fan), this stupid war is ridiculous ! But Gaga also has a Rock, or Glam/Rock background (Stefani Germanotta used to sing with a group, the Semi Precious Weapons before becoming Lady Gaga, and she sang twice with Sting, the "Police" Rocksinger. She also sang with The Rolling Stones in 2012) and after this Jazz record, she announced that she would like to make an acoustic Glam/rock record :) But I totally agree for the rest, the two fanbases need to stop the war, both Gaga and Katy are amazing ! :)

I am truly disappointed at some of the monsters that are talking shit smh. This is music for the soul not the charts. She is the most talented woman in this entire world that voice was made for jazz music. I love Lady Gaga and everything she does. Right on, dude. Lady Gaga is a true artist. She is brilliant, versatile, and the greatest rock star ever. Everything she does is, in my view, gold. She can do no wrong. Artpop is a masterful album full of progressive pop and wonderful songs. This jazz project with Tony Bennett is outstanding and I think very important for her future. I think Gaga will always dabble in styles. Hell, she already has. She is the best and has made me forget all the other artists I liked.

I´m very proud of Gaga. She prove that she can sing more kind of styles than tecnopop. Her voice here is fantastic, clear, on key and she sounds very confortable. For those people who don´t apreciate jazz I can only say one thing, you don´t love music, because any style of music has something to love, even you don´t like it at all.
Obviously not gonna appeal to the majority of her fans but oh my days her voice suits Jazz SO WELL.

I don't think that all teenagers are sheep that follow the charts. I'm 15 and I appreciate the jazz collaboration because I understand that it's a raw, powerful genre that isn't for the charts. It's something Gaga wants to do and it showcases her talent in a way far better than pop music ever could.

I had the worst and scarriest nightmare ever last night. I had a nightmare where I went to the artrave and there was only 5 people in the audience and then the day after Lady Gaga died and I cried listening to artpop. I'm so thankful it's wasn't real, I don't think I could live without her. She's such a wonderful person.

anthony oz in videos of the artrave I've seen full arenas. The only ones I've seen with empty floor space is during the intro when people are still walking in. I only had that as part of my nightmare because of all the people saying that she's a flop and playing empty arenas. When I went to see Britney Spears there actually was tons and tons of empty seats. She actually wasn't bad like people make out she is.

You know music is really dead when we recognize chart position over actual talent. I love this song so much and all the little 12yr olds that say "Oh it's not catchy it won't make it onto the charts" need to just go away.
I think more artists need to start taking a stand and make music not so formulated and aimed for the charts. I'm so over music today and we need some authenticity and actual talent back in the industry instead of everything being so over controlled by the record labels.
Music culture changed since the industry got hungry and greedy .Putting out talentless "artist" just to get some quick cash.
