The video begins where her predecessor "Perfect Illusion" ended, we see a Lady Gaga super energetic giving a show that in the end ends up being just a perfect illusion and collapses in the middle of a desert where she is totally alone. This could interpret the story she suffered during Born This Way and ARTPOP where she collapsed and many fans, friends and even her team turned their backs.
Recall that his former manager, Troy Carter, was the most hypocritical with Gaga during its beginnings. He only used it to create one more doll in the industry and that this was his machine of money. He disappeared during his hip problem and in the ARTPOP era they ended their relationship and contract. That was when Gaga "fell again" and all the projects he had for this album, such as presentations, music videos, applications, and so on, collapsed and was dubbed the world as 'ARTFLOP'.
In a recent interview, Gaga revealed that she always told her team during the 'Born This Way Ball Tour' that she felt sick and ill, but her team only told her to continue with her tour. As a consequence, this provokes the post-traumatic stress disorder that Lady Gaga suffers today.

I'll probably get a lot of backlash for what I'm about to say. Do I care? NOT! Let them because until they've walked in my shoes, they haven't got a clue. Here it is. I blame the system for the loss of my Daughter!! Primarily due to the fact my daughter was in rehab trying to get clean for "herself" !! Because she had a 7-year-old son and me. Sadly, this wasn't her first rodeo attempting to get clean. I can't condone her because at least she tried! Am I saying that I justify her actions as an addict, "ABSOLUTELY NOT"! That is still 💯% on her. Back to my reasoning why I blame the "System" is because they released her too soon! Even after she pleaded with them that it was too soon! She told them she wouldn't be able to fight the temptation !! Yet what did they do, "They did it anyway"!!! Less than 14 days out, my grandson lost a mother, and I lost my firstborn daughter 😔

i am just now discovering gaga and i have been finding out about the depth of her talent and this song sends chills down my spine. my mom and i used to listen to music together and play songs that made us feel soemthing and explain why. she has been gone 24 years. this song and some other gaga songs not to mention so many other songs i have heard over the years made me wish my mom was here just to play this music for her and talk to her about why it hits me the way it does.

When this song came out, my husband of 26 years told me he was having an affair and wanted out. I was beyond devastated. A couple of weeks after that declaration, he told me the affair was over and he wanted to try and save our marriage. I was so torn, I didn’t know what ‘I’ wanted. The lyrics of this song described how I felt. Of course, the affair wasn’t really over so I left him a year later and we divorced. I couldn’t listen to this for the longest time after. It’s taken me a long time to heal. Gaga’s music always helps.

I discovered that all the 1000 reasons we have around us is nothing to that special one, I born again in my parents eyes, and that was the reason to forgive myself, say sorry to the Lord and learn that you, me, we, are... a reason, for someone else...it is worth going and be the reason to someone or beyond than that. Stephanie Fahey tbh she had her time, I doubt her new album would be as successful as born this way.
I disagree. in previous albums (including born this way) she relied heavily on having an act or stage presence to sell her records. Here she seems like she is trying to get back to being a real artist and musician. Don't get me wrong I love Lady Gaga as I think she has the best showmanship out of anyone from this generation (besides Bruno Mars) but she truly is talented at singing, song writing, and playing actual musical instruments. The Fame & Art Pop were too synthesized and manufactured where as Born this Way seemed to over a more variety. This album is showcasing Lady Gaga's growth as an artist. I don't really listen to modern pop music aside from Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and maybe the odd Katy Perry song (though Katy Perry isn't really that great imo) Just my opinion though of course. Only time will tell :)
