I've never seen a movie theater sit so still after a movie. no one moved for a couple minutes. I was really hoping Timothee Chamalet would get an Oscar for beautiful boy but this movie was just outstanding.
My wife and I seen this movie in theaters. A few years later she got diagnosed with cancer. I stood by her side throug buth the entire pain tears laughs that we shared during her chemo treatment. This was hard to watch. My soulmate took his own life away on June of this year. He was also a musician. When he passed away I was in California and him in Seattle. Just flew out to Seattle last week. Hardest thing I ever had to do in my life. I love you Rodney Serrano. He pushed be to become a better artist, to believe in my ideas and myself. This became my wife's favorite movie. She gave birth to our son in January 2020 and passed away December 2020. I have moved forward but don't know how to move on. This song gets to me. Saw the movie tonight with my wife of 44 years, and we both thought it was the best film this year, Bradley's directing, and Lady GaGa's screen apperance was fanastic. Look forward to more of Bradley's film direction, and Lady GaGa should win a Oscar for best actress...and director. In addition the one final part, I wish would have ended differently.

You can hear her sobbing because she recorded that part some hours after the death of her best friend, Sonja. She was ready to record the part in 30 minutes and then Sonja's husband called her to say that Sonja just passed away, Gaga tried to reach her but it was too late. Then Gaga came back because she had to finish the movie. She was really devastated in that moment.

My dad is an ex alcoholic. At some point on this movie, I couldn't stop seeing that Jack was so similar to my dad. He made so many mistakes. When Jack did what he did, I almost ran away from the cinema. I couldn't stop crying, I swear. When I got home, I called my dad and I told him what had happened. I told him "thank you for fighting, thank you for not leaving me, it was a long way, but thank you". You never know what you might learn. Today, with this movie, I learned to forgive.

OMG this is 2018 version of Whitney's "I will always love you". I love Gaga, but the pure, raw Gaga she has evolved into, without the wigs, the costumes, and electronics is pure talent. I never felt so much emotion from a movie, from this song played at the most dramatic moment. Gaga, Miss Lady, Stefani.. and Bradley Cooper. You both left me in tears after this movie. It moved me, it gave me inspiration, it made me feel, it made me think, it made me be aware of what is called LIFE! Nothing is beautiful everytime you wake up, but at least there are some extraordinary people like you two who made a MASTERPIECE out of many fears, joys, love, etc.

My very, very, very dear friend Sonja died of cancer that day. We were supposed to shoot in, like, 30 minutes, and I left the set because her husband called me and I could hear her in the background and I just got in the car and drove. I missed her by 15 minutes and she died. I literally laid with her, with her husband, and their dog, and his son…. When I came back, Bradley was so gentle with me and we got through it. I performed the song. He was like, ‘You don’t have to do it again. It’s okay.’ All I wanted to do was sing. I’ll never forget that day. It was really a special scene, and I’ll always remember that moment.

I saw the film over 24 hours and I can confidently say I have not stopped thinking about it. Put the music aside, incredible as it is. The story of the film and the way it is portrayed by both Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper is SO SO important and needed. No other film will ever compare.

Just realized that when Jackson wrote this song with just the chorus, it was like a declaration of unending devotion and love to Ally. When Ally completed the song, it became a heartwrenching song about loss and never finding a love greater than what they had. So sad yet so amazing.

I have to say I was not a fan of Lady Gaga in the beginning. Not until I heard her do a cover tribute to Frank Sinatra did I see and realize the talent this woman has as an artist. Then I heard her sing Julie Andrews music from the Sound of Music and I knew then she was one of kind talent. I watched in acting in American Horror Story and she was great there. Last night I saw this movie with my wife. I was emotional from the first time Ally sang with Jackson Mane on stage. Her performance, along with Bradley Cooper should garner Oscar nominations for both. This movie should be nominated as one of the best pictures of the year. Bradley Cooper a possible director nomination, and definitely soundtrack of the year. I love this soundtrack.
Sometimes, people just form the wrong impressions just because of how people look. I knew right from when I first heard her voice that she was a superstar and that her voice quality was something to watch out for. Her outlandish appearance and style did not put me off as it did you. Music is music, and a great voice is a great voice no matter what.

I've told people for years that Lady Gaga is the real deal. She plays piano, writes her own songs & sings without autotune. This is why she can sing pop, country, jazz, musicals, etc. Her voice is versatile, because she CAN SING and has had formal training. Ask any of the current pop stars to pull this off and they're left standing in the dust. They can't pull it off.

A little BTS for y'all: I have so much respect for her performing the song under duress. I was a extra on the film when they were shooting the scene for this song. Her friend had literally just passed away that day from cancer, and with poise and perseverance, she belted out this song multiple times without a mistake. I probably would have been too destroyed to work. She had also invited some of her monsters to watch her record her performance which a ton of actors don't really do. Probably one of the most clutch performances I ever saw a performer do.
I know everyone is giving Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper so much praise, and they should because they are wonderful, but serious props to Sam Elliot. So much emotion and passion in the eyes from an actor who is usually very stoic in his performances.

Saw the movie tonight with my wife of 44 years, and we both thought it was the best film this year, Bradley's directing, and Lady GaGa's screen apperance was fanastic. Look forward to more of Bradley's film direction, and Lady GaGa should win a Oscar for best actress...and director. In addition the one final part, I wish would have ended differently.

I never felt so much emotion from a movie, from this song played at the most dramatic moment. Gaga, Miss Lady, Stefani.. and Bradley Cooper. You both left me in tears after this movie. Put the music aside, incredible as it is. The story of the film and the way it is portrayed by both Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper is SO SO important and needed.

I saw it yesterday. It was wonderful.
Just realized that when Jackson wrote this song with just the chorus, it was like a declaration of unending devotion and love to Ally.
When Ally completed the song, it became a heartwrenching song about loss and never finding a love greater than what they had.
So sad yet so amazing.
It's like how Jackson made an arrangement for Ally's Shallow and made his verse too.
Their love for each other is so strong and connected by music.

I have to say I was not a fan of Lady Gaga in the beginning. Not until I heard her do a cover tribute to Frank Sinatra did I see and realize the talent this woman has as an artist. Then I heard her sing Julie Andrews music from the Sound of Music and I knew then she was one of kind talent. I watched in acting in American Horror Story and she was great there. Last night I saw this movie with my wife. I was emotional from the first time Ally sang with Jackson Mane on stage. Her performance, along with Bradley Cooper should garner Oscar nominations for both. This movie should be nominated as one of the best pictures of the year. Bradley Cooper a possible director nomination, and definitely soundtrack of the year. I love this soundtrack.

I knew right from when I first heard her voice that she was a superstar and that her voice quality was something to watch out for. I've told people for years that Lady Gaga is the real deal. She plays piano, writes her own songs & sings without autotune. This is why she can sing pop, country, jazz, musicals, etc. Her voice is versatile, because she CAN SING and has had formal training. Ask any of the current pop stars to pull this off and they're left standing in the dust. They can't pull it off.

A little BTS for y'all: I have so much respect for her performing the song under duress. I was a extra on the film when they were shooting the scene for this song. Her friend had literally just passed away that day from cancer, and with poise and perseverance, she belted out this song multiple times without a mistake. I probably would have been too destroyed to work. She had also invited some of her monsters to watch her record her performance which a ton of actors don't really do. Probably one of the most clutch performances I ever saw a performer do.

I know everyone is giving Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper so much praise, and they should because they are wonderful, but serious props to Sam Elliot. So much emotion and passion in the eyes from an actor who is usually very stoic in his performances.

Not a dry eye at the showing I attended when the lights came on again. Everyone just sat there in silence for a few moments after. Brilliant, painful, shattering, gorgeous performance. I can't wait to see it live at the Oscars next year.
