Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga - Bewitched, Bothered And Bewildered (Rehearsal from Cirque Royal)

This is my favorite Lady Gaga era. To be honest, we need to accept this is the most important thing she´s ever done, number one or not. Numbers, charts, who fucking cares? Stupid sell out Miley Cyrus, One Direction or Katy Perry always end up number one, but that doesn´t mean they´re good. Numbers mean shit to art. If you really are a fan, you know and can see this is the happiest she´s been, like ever. You can see the shine in her eyes and how much she loves Tony and jazz music. Yes, "pop" music may give you chills but jazz music gives Gaga chills and that´s that. People need to grow up and start realizing this is pure, raw talent, no synths, no autotune, no electroshit. Just Gaga and her voice, that´s all we need.

Gaga and Bennett are the unique friendship of soul that transcends generations.

In my opinion, Lady Gaga does great renditions of the old standard tunes.

I've been a Lady GaGa fan since 2009. I'd always hoped she'd do something at least more acoustic so we could hear her amazing voice like we did with the Stefani Germanotta Band. This is.. more than anything I had ever hoped for. It's beautiful, it's honest, it's classic. A lot of you are complaining about how she's "changed".It's strange that you care so much since you didn't know her in the first place. Paws up forever.

All I knew of Lady Gaga was from the press. I'd heard Poker Face and it was ok, but I put her in the category of another female pop singer who was doing what it took to get noticed. However, I have been blown away by all her wonderful renditions of Jazz classics. She and Mr. Bennett are great together and yeah, I've been listening to more of her pop stuff and appreciating it more. Guess I've become a fan...Woo Hoo

I love it -- Lady gaga is showing her true colors and Tony as well as herself are having the times of their lives -- Tony is in his 80s and really has no competition because the old timers are gone -- I'm enjoying this part of my life a baby boomer who is hearing and seeing my favorite artists such as Babs singing duets with other great artists and they're showing off their talent. It's been a real treat watching and hearing Lady sing scant scales and rearranging songs to show off her range of musically talent. Getting standing ovations too and these two really stole the show at the grammy awards 2015.

Goddamn I love her. She has just become so bloody freaking fantastic, vocally. What a powerhouse.

I love that, despite how simple (and still gorgeous) this video/footage is, Gaga's power, brilliance, craziness and fun as a performer are all still so evident. Strip away the pop extravagance, which I absolutely love, and she's still Gaga: still so powerful and theatrical and fabulous and all at the same time.

So she doesn't have a 200,000,000 views on her videos, so she's not on the top of the charts, but at least she's finally become a real artist and this is her time to shine: many have gone through what she experienced with 'The Fame Monster' and those years, but this is the most glorious moment she could have and I'm happy about her!

This kind of music is the kind of music that brings new fans. Honestly I'm happy that Lady Gaga changed her style and quite frankly I think this is where she should stay. This genre of music suits her style so well and has truly made me a Lady Gaga fan. This is just my opinion but by the sounds of this REAL music, I'm pretty sure it's a damn good opinion.

This is it. Unexpected, but true. I was waiting for a sound like this from long ago. Under disguise, covered with wigs, feathers or whatever. She is unique and so engaging. Jazz? She can Jaaaazzzzzz!!!!

This can't be one person. I'm old and though I had heard of her, I saw her first at the Superbowl Halftime. I was not a fan of her music but her performance was so impressive. Then I saw her with Sting singing King of Pain. Actually, I've seen that many times. And now I see her singing Broadway with such feeling. She is amazing.

I believe the serendipitous combination of Bennett and Gaga has been revitalizing for each. He is a master at harmonizing with so many, and brings out the nuanced, dimensional qualities in her voice, which few current singers have. With songbook classics she is a match for the greats, from Holiday, to Vaughan, to Garland, with her emotive stylings, really harking back to the era of great vocal stylists, particularly capable of embuing a song with depth and a sense of sincerity. Most modern singers are woefully lacking in real vocal sophistication or inflective range, relying on "runs" and embellishments which rarely match the requirements of the song. The rut leads to the singing equivalent of a guitar god solo, mostly flash and devoid of content. I was really appreciative they used Edith Piaf's "La Vie En Rose" in the beginning of "A Star is Born." The song is a classic, somehow infusing a melancholy sense of longing, heartache, yearning for something lost, without understanding a single word.

Take her back to the Big Band Era..She'd be a legend now!
