I love how the human is just resigned to the fact that she's going to have a bath as well. I see why you trim the nails first. Your cats are dear kitties, but any cat is absolutely capable of climbing you to get away from the water. Well done, with a minimum of trauma.
You kinda have to at that point. I've done it with mine too, though he's not nearly as bad about it.

Had a cat who could do that. I forgot to lock the door once and after coming out of the shower I found all FOUR cats sitting on the doorstep because this one fucker had decided to open the front door. Two choices: put on clothes and risk all the cats running outside OR just fuck it and get to the door butt naked and grab the cats while I can. I opted for the second choice. Neighbours were amused.

I hada colour point Persian and when he came in soaking wet (only one brain cell I'm afraid) there was hardly anything there. His silky fur was 4" long and somewhere in there was a cat only saw his real size when wet.

This woman has a golden stash of patience & she must be very strong to handle that big, gorgeous cat! Kitty was very annoyed, but the job got done. I can’t even imagine having to bathe all the rest of them, Yikes!!!

Those cats are absolutely stunning! And the lovely lady has the patience of a saint. Ive never seen giving a cat a bath actually qualify as a gym work out though wow!
I used to have a cat who loved to bath, I bathe him once per week and he was never scared of the water and stayed still drinking the water, since he was a baby I bathe him and his paws when he had to go to the bathroom to do his business bc I hate when they have sand in their paws and it makes me allergic and I have some ocd to germs. He got used to it so he didn’t mind. You just need to teach him when he’s still small :)
@@TheAlien_in_your_backyard My cat hates to bathe even tho I did it to him since he was small. But he lets me wipe his bum and paws with a damp tissue and then dry one after each time he goes in the litter hehe.
Maybe because you never have a cat. All my cats are crazier than him and i always full of sweat after i bath one of them

Thats not loving, they groom and over wash cats so people would be more likely to buy them. Cats dont need to be washed unless theyre actually dirty or have a flea infestation. This is abuse
@@annasthinaful what are you talking about 😭 this is a ragdoll cat, they are long haired cats, which means they do need baths every once in one or two years (depends on how well thet groom themselves). If they don't get baths, then their fur will be matted and greasy, which will be actually painful for the cats to groom themselves because then their fur will often get tangled and pull on their skins.
Giving them baths frequently is bad, but this is Lucas' first bath in years 😭
Their discomfort for half an hour will be worth it so the owners wouldn't have to go to the extreme of shaving them due to matting because they didn't give their cats a bath when they need it (which btw, in case you don't know, is the worse case scenario for long haired cats as they have multiple coats of fur, and will grow uneven if shaved)
I've never realised that Ragdolls are a huge cat breed, even without all the fluff...

@@TheAlien_in_your_backyard I wouldn’t attempt it with a cat, with dogs yeah, it’s okay their nails aren’t too bad. I get scratches from playtime mostly. I think the lady in the video should invest in a professional grooming bath, no need to strip or get soggy clothes 😅

I've had a Ragdoll for 20 years. I think he is 21 years since he was a pretty full grown cat when I got him in 2001.
He's in old age now and is showing signs of his final days. One of the best companions anyone could ask for.

@@environmentalnews6040 The owner actually had a cattery but i think she stopped the cattery bcoz of some problems ig thats why there are 3 generation of cats living in the house
@@rajashreedutta._. she stopped because 2 reasons; she realised the responsibilities of handling life (and ones that do not make it) and in order to keep the cattery going she would have to give away her cats that she breed (Julien, Chloé, Lucas, Nanna and Manon) once they've retired. She doesn't want to do so, since they are actually her own pets she got for herself as companions (she didn't start breeding until around a year after she adopted Julien). I think Amber being pregnant was a surprise pregnancy, but it was a welcome one now that we have 5Gs
While growing up, my father married my stepmother who was a cat breeder. He was never a cat person but he loved her and over time became attached to a few of them. He was the kind of man who thought cats belonged outside where they could hunt, etc. I remember having at least up to 18-24 cats at any given time from breeding to rescuing a few over the years. You would never know there were more than 1-2 cats in the house. She had many litter boxes around and kept on top of the litter daily and the boxes were hidden from sight fairly well. She always had a hard time selling the kittens because she would get so attached to them. Of course, this was decades back.
Due to health, I think she only has one cat and one dog now.

I had to shower my cat once because of fleas, and he was…well, I'm not sure I'd say calm, but subdued? I did not get a single scratch! I think if you're gentle enough and they trust you enough, they know you won't hurt them even if they don't like what you're doing. He still trusted me enough to follow me into the bathroom the same day after I showered him. Cats can clean themselves normally, but it's always nice you know it's possible to bathe them without traumatizing them!

Yesterday I rescued a kitten, it was very filthy to the point I had to give it a bath. Surprisingly, it didn't scrap me, I told myself like this kitten mix with fish Gene's lol or it customs to getting wet in the rain. So maybe it depends on the type of cat or its experiences.

This women loves her furry babies. That is clear. She talks to them, love them, & tries to give the best assurance, protection & care. As much as we love our furry babies, how many of us can devout the same thing. She does everything for these sweet Rag dolls. With 11 cats, her house is immaculate. I love this channel.
