People who often use tradition as a reason to keep things the same never realise why things are a tradition. At some point in the past something worked, so people did that more often. Then over time the circumstances often change and so that tradition is now kinda worthless.
Human blood sacrifices were a tradition for a long time. So was slavery. So was organised religion....oh wait we still have that nevermind.

That would lead to the dissipation of traditional relationships, which would be good, as humans aren’t evolutionarily inclined to just stick to one partner sexually their whole life. That would lead to the destruction of traditional marriage, which is also good, as that is overly religious, is expensive, (which is proven to end relationships faster.) and often makes the two partners feel the need to stay in a loveless, toxic relationship. That would destroy the TRADITIONAL family unit, which is happening anyways, and wouldn’t leave the child without parents or authority figures, and yeah, it would lead them to maybe depend more on the government, and yeah, liberals want to be the government. As well as conservatives. And republicans. And Democrats. And socialists. And fascists. And anarchists. And monarchists. And libertarians. And everyone.

And that is the ultimate goal of Conservatives in the first place.
