It's so weird how the windmills don't freeze here in Utah or Wyoming... with our several feet of snow and freezing temperatures for at least three months per year. So weird how winterizing things works.
Utah and Wyoming are great examples! We get harsh winters and summers. You can make equipment that works in both!

My dog is a Huskie and Lab mixed (Huskador) and is going on 15 years. He's well taken care of but doesn't look in the best shape. Bigger dogs tend to have shorter lives. For them to exceed 12 years or more is a blessing. Since they want to "dog" his dog, maybe they should look in the mirror. Joe's dog looks better than all 3 of them combined!! My dog is named Chonq; he's a McNab Cattledog, so he's a mix of Border Collie, Queensland Heeler, Australian Shepard and American Bulldog. He's six....a dog in his prime....terribly smart and athletic, heart of gold, very happy and loves everyone and everything. To tell you the truth, it's a hell of an honor to be his friend.

That dog is 1 year old. I watched the video when he adopted him a few months ago. He also has an old dog, but it's a lighter brown German shepherd. Either way, that dog is cleaner and smarter than any RepubliKKKan.

Satire often tells great truths. Here in Oz, FaceBook has blocked sharing news links and all posts from news sites. Our satire sites are putting out some very cutting work, e.g. a list of every case of smells-like-corruption actions by our federal government coalition over the past 7 years, in a satirical photo-and-headline frame.
Everything gives us more truth. Randomly guessing would give you more accurate information. The republican party exist on lies because they profit and stay in power with the system the way it is.
You try to pretend to represent the interests of the workers while implementing policies that almost exclusively help the rich. It is not easy coming up with enough bullshit to hide that. Of course it is much easier when a lot of your voters have the memories and intellectual capacity of fruit flies.

Like who says that about a beautiful 12 year old German Shepard who is obviously well taken care of? You have nothing else to complain about when it comes to Biden so you attack his dogs? That wasn't actually the rescue (not that it makes it any better) they were going after. Champ is the the rescue. Major is Biden's 12 year old German Shepard. Which honestly, if my dog as a kiddo looked, and acted, that healthy at 12 we wouldn't have had to put him down.
Just for clarification my dog got really sick at the end of his life, couldn't turn around even. He would have to back up and then turn to his right side but couldn't actually turn around. He couldn't go up stairs and he would fall all the time. He would sleep downstairs and have diarrhea and then fall in it and then not be able to get himself out of it because he had fallen and someone would not find him until the morning. It was so sad. My BFF from 10 to 22.

I grew up around wind mills and visited a museum about them when I was a kid. They are beautiful and quiet and I kind of loved seeing them on the hills slowly turning.
Iceland has windmills. They maintain them properly. They work in bitter cold. They maintain them properly.

I found my mastiff wallowing on a dead coyote carcass. He had just had a bath two days before. Luckily, his shots had been renewed two weeks prior. I live in Wyoming about 20 minutes from a very large windmill operation... It get very cold, snowy, and windy here. And somehow, our windmills still work. So if Texas's tiny number of windmills are failing, it clearly a problem they created, not the windmills.
Meanwhile, Scandinavian countries enjoy the bliss of wind farms providing energy in very nasty freezing winter conditions
This storm was the coldest in Texas' recorded history. All the wind farms froze, then broke down. Repairs are extremely difficult.
But they didn't mention that natural gas also suffered and is susceptible to cold, like wind turbines. The real problem is lack of interconnection with other states and the unexpectedly extreme nature of the storm. They actually started preparing a week prior, but it got much colder.
