At this point, lol would live on even if the game closed to be honest. They've created so many great stories in the universe, even the subverses that they could go on to make a dozen of different story games. There is a MMO on coming and a fighting game, many confirmed story changes and revamps.
So basically, the best part about League is it's Legend.

Honestly, it's kinda sad. I've played a couple of games with friends and genuinely enjoyed it. Unless I have weird taste it seems to be mostly community based issues, right? Though I don't pay attention to most of the complaints. Idk. It's really sad when good games are ruined by the communities. Kind of like Among Us. That genuinely was so fun before it became popular.

And most of us do solo queue meaning we don't play with friends. It's worst when you always do good but can't ever progress because of the burden holding you back. And also the game has become way too repetitive it's always the same thing. Kinda boring after a few years
I just play zilean he's the only reason I'm still here (easy to play and really fun. But not so fun with brainded adc. Treated like a slave which is what supps are here. Disposable tools who's efforts are mostly never seen...and best scapegoats ever lol

I also hope they make a traditional 2D Animated Anime series out of it unlike arcane I know arcane looks great and all but I think the artsyle of this music video would suit a Star Guardian Anime better

For those of you who didn't read the newest short story of the Star Guardian and wonder why Xayah is "good "now and why she is thinking about Rakan: In the newest Star Guardian story, the fight between Ahri and Neeko against Xayah/Rakan/Zoe as shown in the last music video years ago continues with them fighting in Valorant City where the other Star Guardians are. Zoe nearly corrupts Miss Fortune but then Neeko and Ahri save her and later on they also manage to save Rakan and Xayah, but Xayah was too corrupted and about to die so Rakan absorbed all her corruption (as seen in the last music video) and pretty much charges into Zoe to explode with her. However Xayah doesn't want to believe that Rakan is dead and now she is searching for him to save him.
Edit: for all the people asking for the story it is called "Twin Stars" and was uploaded by Riot two days ago. It is great read.

I really felt the part where xayah tried to push seraphine away but seraphine stayed by her side and hugged her. everyone deserves a friend like her :')
a few months before this event dropped, one of my closest friends passed away and it was the first time dealing with grief to that level especially with all of us that she left behind but this song always makes me think of her (especially since league is so deeply rooted in our friendship)
so this song makes me so happy in a bittersweet way whenever i listen to this because i just think of her

I just realized that Seraphine's power to hear other people's souls means that she could hear Xayah's. This makes the scene where Seraphine grabs on to Xayah, shedding a tear and pulling her into a hug far more powerful to me. She can feel Xayah's pain.

Not only that, but that's the first time Xayah can Clearly remember Rahkan without touching his feather (its subtle but watch it again). Seraphine not only could hear Xayah's heartbroken song but connected her with Rahkan's song that was still in her Purified heart, the song that existed before they both fell and were resurrected by Zoe. That's why when Sera hugged her she returned to her original self and after this, goes and frees Rahkan too.

It's ironic. Kaisa transformed with the fragments of her broken friendship to Akali.
I lost my fiancee in December last year. It was the absoulte worst pain Ive ever been through and I havent been the same since. This song made me break down and somehow comforted me in a weirdway. Thank you Porter and Riot for this beautiful song and animation

I'm here because a special person in my life recommended this to me (he doesn't know I like him haha). This song is so comforting, so sad yet hopeful from the lyrics to the rhythm and technicalities. I get why this is or was his comfort song---especially after what he's been through. Listening to this also makes me feel connected to him. You know who you are, thank you for being so kind and accepting of me.
This song touched me so much because of how well suit the lyrics were to my last relationship; we wanted to believe that what we had would spark. there was a lot of self-blaming within us and painfully doubtful attempts but we had to admit that not everyone we love is someone we can have. and it made me scared thinking i was "giving up" while he was already aware that there were better things for both of us out there, and that ending the relationship will only seem like a difficult, sad moment we think lasts forever. but like the song, everything goes on. what we undeniably want is the sea right outside our window but we choose to feel safe yet restricted within our room. i cry every time i hear this song ;w;

i'm going through something similar. we both love each other but she ultimately decided that it was best that we part ways even if i wanted what we had to last forever. i feel so helpless, and remorseful that i didn't try hard enough to make things work because it eventually caused her to feel that way. the harder i tried to fix things, the harder it cemented the fact that it wasn't going to work. it's just painful, and i've been grieving for weeks, unsure if i'll ever get to move on from her.

They need to publish more story-oriented games like visual novels. I wish the Star Guardian visual novel were properly fleshed out with multiple routes and choices mattering, and I wish it weren't tied to playing matches of League of Legends. It should be a standalone release.

This video bring up so many emotions of when someone I really deeply loved (and still do) more than anyone I had ever been with broke up with me. Me and her are still really good friends and always will be but it still really hurts more than any heart break I have ever faced. The lyrics sound just like something she would tell me to help comfort me. I still cry really hard over her really hard when no one is home.
Just moved into my apartment for college. This video is hitting a bit different than it used to and I don't know how to feel about it. Porter Robinson has always done this, made me feel in ways I can never understand myself. Thank you for being such an amazing artist

I looked through the comments to see if anyone mentioned this, and I apologize if I missed someone else commenting this but, I think that Rakan was leading Xayah to a support system with his feather. It somehow blows up the stairs and onto the roof right into the middle of a group of people who are going to hold her when she is falling apart and who can be there for her when Rakan can't be there for her himself. I don't know if it was intended but the idea of him still looking out for her even though he suffered the corruption really hits me right in the heart. 💔💞
I think that totally makes sense! Especially with the scene where you see Rakan letting go of one of his feathers. As if he wanted to lead Xayah somewhere

It got to me when I was in a dark place a friend made me listen to it and i was kinda hesitant at first but it grew on me and it just got me out of that place.

The fact they mixed the Star guardian group in Wild Rift and in the PC is really a nice detail, two groups of star guardians but in like different worlds.
No, they're from the same universe but they're separated ingame, Gwen is also in the SG universe but she's LOR exclusive rn, they'll probably all show up in the visual novel or if not they'll intertwine all the star guardians in the next lore drops
@@Elysian_311 eh i feel like Gwen’s involvement in the story is a bit inconsequential, she was just on Zoe’s team and was there when the teammate who made Zoe insane with her death died, and then like later on Gwen died and had her soul put into a doll and was asleep up until recently, but she is a purple guardian and they usually know more than the others.

I've been listening to this song ever since it came out. Had a friend who was as interested to the Star Guardian lore as I am and liked this song as well. I still remember how he sang this song while in vc as I silently listened, I could tell he was happy at that time. It's approximately a month since we parted ways and all I could do is hope that he's doing well right now and that he would make his parents proud one day with the girl that's closer to him and deserves him. I never had the chance to tell how much I liked him and ever had the chance to say a proper farewell. I wish I had told him I enjoyed his and his friend's company despite them being very chaotic and loud, but that's how I like my friends as. I know there's one in a billion chance you'd come across this comment one day but M, I really miss you. I actually confessed to you first via the commission you asked me to do though it was barely visible. If you would just zoom in at the very bottom left of the drawing you commissioned me, you'd see it :). Sure, right now in definition "Anime" is basically just the Japanese way of saying "Cartoon(s)", but I think because of the massive international cultural shift that's been happening recently (especially with the V-Tuber boom) it's the same situation that happened with the word "Hentai", which if you don't know literally just means "Pervert(ed)". I know almost nothing about Japanese but considering the crippling anarchial condition that English is constantly in, I think it's safe to say "Anime" is just a more specific way to describe an art-style that was originally inspired by Japanese artists.

I thought I had a beautiful relationship for 5 years. We were going to get married. He ended up being a narcisist, a cheater and a completely different person than I thought he was. This song is like the apology of the version of him I fell in love with, and the goodbye of the person I wished he truely was instead of faking it. He loved to play League, I loved to watch him play. I cosplayed Xayah once. This made me cry for the first time in months, but in a good way I guess. Feels like closure somehow.

I used to play a lot of Porter Robinson's songs with my mom before she passed away and seeing him collab with one of my most favorite (and hated) games really brought a tearful smile to my face. The lyrics in this song were very heartwarming and yet bittersweet as it reminded me of how my mom would have wanted me to keep her in my heart and move on as well as to move on with those close to me since she's not here anymore. It reminds me that as long as I have my close and loved ones near me, I'll never be going through anything alone no matter how painful it may be.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but Seraphine hugging Xayah means even more than what it seems on the surface due to her ability to hear souls. She can feel EXACTLY what Xayah is going through, the pain, guilt, and grief, she hears all of it, and that hug tells Xayah that she's not alone anymore. That her friends are there for her, and they're there to stay.

Don't worry most people who play don't know the lore! It's an alternative universe to the main game where they're magical girls who protect the universe. The bird girl with purple/magenta hair is Xayah and she and her boyfriend Rakan got corrupted by an evil magical girl of the past. Later on Rakan (green bird guy) took a sacrifice and saved xayah by fully corrupting himself. Xayah loved him like her other half, that's why she is so upset here. The light pink haired girl with the long hair is Kai'sa and we don't really know her lore with the blue haired pony-tail girl, Akali yet. But we do know they used to be best friends but for some reason that has to do with protecting the universe they're drifting apart now.
Rakan isn't actually dead and the event in the mobile league of legends game, wild rift, is about finding and saving him.

Definitely feels like it's Rakan singing this to Xayah, and that makes it that much better after what happened. Video, lore, and music are absolutely top notch.

I was fortunate enough to see Porter Robinson live at Red Rocks. An incredible experience to say the least. Incredible visuals and music that you can dance too. He's my current favorite EDM artist. It's nice to see him do a song for LOL.
that concert looked sick, probably one of the coolest venues on his tour. I would've loved to be there for that one. At least I was lucky enough to catch him on the backend in Philly.

I genuinely love how Kai'Sa gives up her friendship to become a Star Guardian and you can see that very scene happening when she takes the flower off of her friendship bracelet with Akali back in the mirror. When she takes off the flower and gives it to Lux the mirror shatters and Akali is gone, symbolizing that their friendship is now in pieces.
