Why are all the new champs like this? It's like they throw everything they have in their kit.

She gains True damage and Attack Speed.
She has 4 dashes...
She has auto-aim on the lowest health enemy, to make sure that someone who can't aim still gets kills. And she also gets reduced damage and lifesteal from that.
Like: wtf? They just throw in every single thing they have, instead of making a balanced, specialized champion. This is so not fun to play.
I mean, Xin Zhao has to attack 3 times for his knock-up.

No matter how many stacks you have and you can get as many tank items on him you want, but as the game goes longer, damage dealers will get through, and will have more answers for his only gap closer and cc, wither. Then it's kite time and die time.

@@TruthAndReconciliation From what i've seen. Bel'veth is basically a ticking time bomb like Kayle. If the game drags on long enough she'll 1v5. But if the game ends before 20 minutes she'll be quite useless.

The thing is that the concept art shows how Riot intended her to be a melee fighter.
That already doesn't fit her body model well.
Its so hard for her to get enough coral to be super deadly. Shes okay. Neat mechanics for sure though.

It looks good that they changed the attack speed animation. Before was looking like a Shyvanna with Guinsoo.
I like how league of legends make every champion more unique than the last. The only problem is how older champions don't get improved versions of their existing uniqueness.
Like having brand being able to set bushes ablaze or Nami's ultimate being better (in damage, speed, and CC) when cast from a water source, maybe let Cho'gath be able to consume traps like Tremo shrooms or Shaco boxes with his R for stacks, but of course he has to see it to eat it.
As they aren't going to be making a champion like Brand or Nami or Cho'gath again.
However, this obviously isn't very profitable.
Nami being stronger in the river would be so great.

we struggled with the 200 years champs, she will be nerfed at least 5 times on release like zeri and then will be buffed when she is finally allowed in pro play. but I'm buying her and playing her toplane anyway.

To be fair, she doesn't seem overloaded. She does have details, but they're situational and conditional, the flow chart is intuitive, and she isn't given a shield every time she sneezes on someone.
She is far closer to Nidalee or Yorick than Akshan or Aphelios imho. No endless scaling or shields or "you activated my trap card" moments.
Complex? Yes. Overloaded? Not by 200 years.

As I was watching the spotlight this new champ it ashamed me that the new void creature wasn't so creature like, more of humanoid which goes against the whole void world concept. But the ultimate form Bel'Veth has kinda fixed that in a way.

i like her lore, i like her kit, im just struggling to see the connection between the two
The idea is that Bel'veth can looks like a human but in reality she's a monster who will quickly stab you to death and feed on you to get even faster. Meanwhile, if she gets strong enough (killing Rift/Baron), she will starts summoning the void fishes to take over the enemy.
However, it is hard to imagine that being enough for the world ending threat.
It doesn't help that mind control/corruption got teased like 4 times while the swarm aspect got teased like 7 times.
People expected more from the two aspects and her current gameplay don't really reflect that especially how Bel'veth focuses so much more on being this fast predator.
She doesn't feel any different than Kha'zix and Rek'sai.
If her kit focused more on CC and summoning fishes, it might have worked out more to convey the Swarm Queen coming to take over humanity.

Renata is a simple character but so many little details make her fit so well with her lore. She doesn't even auto attack herself most of the time but clicks her finger to mark her target for her ADC to hit. She really stands out from the other typical enchanter supporters.
Bel'veth has nothing that distinguish her from Rek'sai or Kha'zix.
I'd rather if she was closer to Malzahar instead
@@WoodSageSeaSalt honestly, i’d love to see her summons being also spawnable by abilities, and for her to have some yoric stuff where she could target enemies or areas with a skillshot, sending her sea creatures there
maybe even something between yoric/oriana/azir, really show us that she is an empress by giving her control over her subjects as a fundemential part of her kit, instead of having fish spawns as kind of an afterthought to her kit.
@@Han_Moz The thing is that the initial leaked ability (which is pretty close to what she ended up getting minus the fast attacks) made her seems like a swarm focused character.
She would gather stacks from Jungle and gank to release them all as her swarms.
During her Ult, she would release her swarms as she transform and then making the swarm again for getting corals.
That already makes her sound so much more interesting than what she is right now.
I also woudln't mind if her fishes weren't actually minions/pets but visual effect for DOT spells.
One idea I wrote is that being hit by her AA would attach a fish effect each time and at the end the enemies would look like they are being swarmed by multiple fishes biting them but it's actually closer to Malzahar's E burn.

I really think they dropped the ball. It's a design/gameplay mismatch. She's supposed to be royalty of the void, she's got total mage vibes and then she just... Slaps people.
Key words being "of the void". What voidborn would listen to someone who isn't directly powerful themselves. She shows her power over the other Voidborn by being powerful herself

I like it, mostly. I think the dashes should be fixed to the cardinal directions, limiting mobility slightly more and granting more counterplay.
I also don't think the true damage on autos should be there, but it does make for cool in-kit synergy.

Relax Kraken is nerfed and overpriced. A decent amount of adcs are just skipping Mythic because of how pricey they are.

You say this. But Kraken Slayer is like the least used ADC mythic. Galeforce and Shieldbow are a much bigger problem than Kraken Slayer.
I'd much rather take someone doing occasional true damage. Than giving mobility (+damage) to champions whose weakness is literally mobility.
Or granting insane lifesteal (+shield) which is a big problem in League to champions that benefits vastly from it (cough Draven).

@@Whitedudeabove There's nothing "insane" about the lifesteal Shieldbow gives, especially after that specific part of it has been nerfed multiple times. It's a pretty underwhelming item at the moment and its only perk is that it's the safety option for ADCs. Its biggest use was giving ADCs a chance to not be instantly deleted by assassins or mages, but now ADCs get to be tankier in general so it's not as good of an item. It's the most popular for being easy to use, not good - statistically it does quite poorly on a lot of adcs who build it often.

This champ reminds me of this old horror movie called "Mimic".
Basically they took something in nature where some insects "imitate" the looks of their prey to lure them, and in this movie there were these giant insects who "imitate" human appearance by looking like one at a glimpse with unoptimal visibility.

Except she's actually not because all of her abilities including her passive have gimmicks and secondary effects. Seeing her in action tells you almost nothing about what she's actually doing. She's a 200 years champ, this is to be expected.

Fun Tip: If you nab Rift Herald at level 6 and then run it down mid in Voider Form, you can take tower with all plates on it before the Rift Herald dies so if you have the chance, just go ham on turrets in Voider Form

Her ultimate is a passive, what does Sylas taking it do? Does it make enemies drop void coral when he kills them until he uses it? I'd assume so, but what does that do? Just the damage and slow I'd assume, but I could also see it giving him permanent attack speed

Do not use the E while there are other monsters in the fighting area. Remember to use this only when you know your allies would do the initiated burst damage. And yeah, only when their health is lower than half at least.
You can use Q for forward attacks, you have about 3 chances to get much closer to your target.
You do not have to use W if you are fed enough.
Playing without flash is viable I highly suspect, but yeah, make sure you make less mistakes.
R can be used really well in teamfights.
Taking down tower then going to a dragon or herald may work because of R stuff.
Yes, the more passive you have, the more unwinnable it is for your opponent to 1v1 you.
I tried using conqueror and it was fun to use versus marksmen.

Could you guys make a champ that isn't OP since release? I can't remember the last champion you made that was ACTUALLY BALANCED
So, endless dashes in multiple directions, high attack speed later on in the game, true damage, and an ultimate that makes her not only more powerful, but also deals AOE damage and gives her resets. Technically useless if no enemy champions die, but potentially another real team fight turner, despite her allegedly not being great in team fights?
Man, I miss the days when Gangplanks rework was actually making him an even more unique champion.
