You speak clearly, logically... But most importantly, you don't use slang. Many learners can't understand movies even if they read the scripts because they never learnt slang or swear words in school.

Thank you Bob. Your pronuciation is really clear. I moved to the US recently, but people here have different accents.On these days I work hard to improve my skills, days and nights.And When I'm talking in English with a person that English is their second language too, like me, I feel more confident, but I experince so much stress when it comes to the native people. Because talking is like playing ping pong and if I don't understand what they say I feel embarrassed deeply that I messed up again.
Sometimes some people don't have any tendency to repeat their words so I prefer not to ask them to say that again. Instead I'm trying to improve my listening.
I share my experience here for those ones who experiencing the same journey. Thank you again Bob. I always take notes of your videos.

Bob, your explanations show that you really are aware that we are ESL and you understand our weaknesses in English, that's why I am watching your videos since 2021 and I keep on watching. I told my friends or recommend them to see your videos I told them about your clarity and tone. Now my favorites are real-life English in other words when you visit fast food restaurants using real-life English words.

When I listened Bob for the first time I got really impressed with his accent. I think that Bob mixed canadian with american accent and the result was wonderful.It's clear, perfectly understandable for beginners and non natives.

I love "train your ears". Since Some of English native speakers who come from different states of a country have different dialects and accents. This has become one of the challenges too. Thanks Bob.

Hey Bob. Thanks for these amazing videos. I am new to your channel. I have shared a couple of your videos with some of my students and colleagues around the world. I am a language teacher myself. I have spent more than 30 years teaching French, English, and Spanish. I thought I spoke English before I came to live here in Mid-Georgia. I felt frustrated because after many years of teaching and speaking the language I was not able to understand anyone here. Of course, my college English had not been tested in a US southern environment. Southern American English has a unique intonation pattern and vowel changes. That makes it difficult to understand. So my advice is to listen to a wide variety of people with different accents and different social backgrounds. it may help a lot.

It feels great to teach you in a natural way that too in the midst of real nature.
