I came across one sentence - when I took on the job of manager, I inherited certain financial problems.
In here , Why not a or the manager? manager is countable singular noun- does that mean name of actual person?

LET ME IN.
Is it an exception or what?

There are many ways to learn English Language, like reading books, audio video visuals, daily noted 5, unknown words and write different types of sentences, and remember it, reading different subjects of paragraphs, trying to understand it.we are not using in daily English speaking with grammatical errors but common sense of meaning of what we say.

٢ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ

3 He begets not, nor was He begotten.
٤ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
4 And there is none comparable to Him."

2 Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
٣ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيم

٤ مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
4 Master of the Day of Judgment.
٥ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِين
5 It is You we worship, and upon You we call for help.
٦ اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيم
6 Guide us to the straight path.
٧ صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ
7 The path of those You have blessed, not of those against whom there is anger, nor of those who are misguided.
