Im not entirely sure why, but i really dig these 100 days storytelling type of content way more than a day by day playthrough that takes 30 or more videos to watch to the end.
Story telling is what keeps me engaged for these videos, or like really cool challenges.
@@L006er the lore, however confusing it may be, in legundo videos keeps me hooked lol. is there any kind of explanation for the obelisk or is that still in the works of being fleshed out ?

I think the villagers kept leaving because of the open air concept, I think they need a door and a roof to acknowledge the place as a home. I remember an old video explaining something like that.
It's because they don't have a Workstation, villagers don't know what to do without a bed AND a Workstation
They don't care about doors anymore tho
& they were constantly leaving becouse they were trying to go to those villages that otherwise functionally don't exist.

But on land as well they are killed for shark fin the get there fins chopped of as thay r alive and will usually throw them back in the sea with no fins to slowly die it will affect all of earth we only have one earth flake from fish and chip shop is gummy shark know what u r eating u can find shark rescue centres online who help sharks

Those โmurder koalasโ actually exist irl (as a joke). In Australia, there a joke legend that a subspecies of koala will drop from trees and attack you. Theyโre called โdrop bearsโ and are extremely dangerous XD

XD thatโs awesome. Thereโs a really funny video you can find of a prank involving drop bears. These guys got a British reporter to put on body armor and ski goggles and they handed her a โdrop bear.โ Itโs pure gold.

those murder koalas are actually also named "drop bears" and did you also know that the drop bear sound in the video is quite accurate for how koala's sound

Wait the mod that adds Japanese Spider Crab actually gives them real life Japanese Spider Crab behaviors? That's amazing! Props to whoever made that mod for being that thorough with the mod!
the light modding really put a cool spin on the classic 100 days format. everyone's seen vanilla 100 days and even certain modpacks too, but I'd never heard of the create mod. None of the mods ever felt overpowered (except maybe the crossbow KeK) and really added to the whole "ocean only" challenge, which I had even seen before this, though the mods made it so much more unique than any other videos out there. The ending was also very satisfying.

@@Willified to be fair, i feel like vanilla minecraft only really started updating frequently a few years ago (before that it was like once a year maybe if memory serves correctly) so maybe there was less interest in mods? at least thatโs how it was for me lol. i started playing on my switch bc my laptop is doodoo and canโt play with modpacks so the base game being a lot cooler was great for me

Legundo in 2 months: survived 100 days on another planet

100 days vids take half a month just to record because yโknow, to not die for 100 days.
I also did the math, just doing 100 days would take 33 hours, but since heโll have a bed, it goes down to 20 hours, since they get beds around day 20. Still, thatโs just recording, and if you die, whole cycle happens again. And the editing would probably take as long as the recording. So they take a month to pump those out, not even including how long it would take to upload it, and since itโs an hour long most of the time, it may take days to even upload. So in 2 months, heโll have 1-2 of these published. Good luck on getting it right.
Don't forget I'm also working on other videos, streaming every M/W/F on Twitch (come tune in! :D ) and my Day job- so it takes a little bit.

Fun fact! The Drop Bears from the nether are actually murder koalas! They are based on folktale and urban legend from Australia about predatory and dangerous koalas who would drop out of trees to attack and kill people!

I'm working on a MASSIVE project right now, converting an Ocean Monument to a Nether biome. About 200 days so far, and we're maybe 1/4 done with the whole project... it's gonna take a while.
