Really? Okay. What was the Green Lantern's job before being recruited by the Lantern corp.? Pilot. What appears to be her job before being brought into her group of heros? Pilot. They both are able energy blasts from their hands, they both can use their powers to fly through space and they do so wearing a kind of dumb looking suit that is CG. Not saying that this movie will suck like Lantern did, but you have to admit that there are similarities.

I'm just a casual comic fan and I assumed that there are going to be differences. I'm just saying that what I've seen in this trailer and what I remember seeing in the Green Lantern movie (I've blocked most of it from my memory) are similar. Both pilots, both have a terrible looking (in my opinion) CG costumes, both appear to be humans that are chosen to be part of an elite alien group of heroes and both use some sort of energy blast that comes from area of their hands. Hence the Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern vibe I'm getting from this trailer. I just hope it's a better movie than the Green Lantern one.
