I'm praying for Pastor John Gray and his wife, though I've never committed adultery I understand its devastating effects on marriage. The wife also has some serious health issues that she is dealing with too. I did not hear that they took time to get any professional counseling and ask for forgiveness from God and apology to the congregation. I pray that they get help because what the body of Christ need is healthy leaders.

While I don’t agree with simply blaming it on the woman and/or the husband being broken, I also don’t think it’s fair to say this woman is staying with her husband because of the money. She has built a family with this man. People are so judgmental. I’ve been married and left due to infidelity so for me it’s not something I can tolerate, but having been married and established a life with someone, it’s not always simply about the money. I'm praying for Pastor John Gray and his wife, though I've never committed adultery I understand its devastating effects on marriage. The wife also has some serious health issues that she is dealing with too. I did not hear that they took time to get any professional counseling and ask for forgiveness from God and apology to the congregation. I pray that they get help because what the body of Christ need is healthy leaders.

I'm saddened like you to see all these people in the congregation hollering and cheering over a mess. I will continue to pray that Pastor Gray and his wife get the help they need and that someone would intercede and sit them down to work on their issues so that the people of God can be led by spiritually healthy leaders.
While I don’t agree with simply blaming it on the woman and/or the husband being broken, I also don’t think it’s fair to say this woman is staying with her husband because of the money. She has built a family with this man. People are so judgmental. I’ve been married and left due to infidelity so for me it’s not something I can tolerate, but having been married and established a life with someone, it’s not always simply about the money. Women stay with broke men all of the time.

No, not one of us is perfect; however, daily we are to strive TOWARD being like Jesus Christ (sheer perfection). Own up to our mistakes and stop throwing around the word "judgmental." "Repent" and "Accountable" are two very important and much needed words to throw around to ourselves (as we self-reflect) AND to our brothers & sisters in Christ.
