How much battery does that drain though? I've seen some too and they just looked cheap and made the car look bad (unlike those preinstalled in cars like the Ford Territory)
@@BlasterJunos My battery is still in great condition but you could always unplug them during the day(I tend to forget)but otherwise they really don't use much from what I've seen. I'm not trying to promote my videos but I uploaded one a few months ago with them included. My sister redid them so they're better now but they looked good regardless

Quick tip for air freshener. Instead of using the “mostly” horrid smelling hanging ones simply use some cologne you like. When you wash your car and clean the interior just spray the cologne in the footwell area, close all the windows and turn on your AC and air recirculation for about 5 minutes. Smell will last a week or two. Now if you go months between washing your car or cleaning the interior, I can’t help you…:)

I like to install LEDs under the door cards if they fit (generally in trucks) so it can illuminate the floor giving better visibility for stepping out/down
A lot of stores sell these small trash can you can stick in the cup holder. They have a little flap on the top and say push if anyone decides to look it up. They can’t hold a lot but it’s enough for receipts and wrappers. They normally cost about 5 bucks and look pretty clean.
Yea this is the very first thing I got, it’s an amazing addition that is unnoticeable. And I still fit a hand sanitizer next to it
A compressed air can also works very well for cleaning tight places.

You suggested the Bluetooth/ FM transmitter. But now cars that don't have phone control on the steering wheel, one can get a Bluetooth controller for that. Add that to your list. 👍🏾

Another way to get a touch screen in your car is to have a Bluetooth deck and use a tablet with magnetic vent holders to keep it in place. I use a Tab S7 plus with no issues of it falling off, I also pay for xfinitywifi every month so I can get internet. However I believe you can also use your phone to get online as well
I love that I used the 2v new edge example for the Lower class
I would also add a dash mat as it protects the dashboard from sun damage it also reduces or nearly eliminates the dash glare so you can see better

I had one of the sticky outty fm transmitter for my old 2002 acura tl. It did good while I had it but it did fall out quite a bit. Now having a 2020 acura ILX I don't really need it anymore. New vehicle are convenient and expensive.

OMG FM TRANSMITTER IS SOMETHING THAT I MIGHT ACTUALLY BUY! I own 1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse and it did not come out with stereo as stock. Previous owner installed a pretty expensive and premium class Pioner stereo unit back in 2005 which still holds pretty well to this day. Im not into screen stuff in 90s sports cars + my budget is tight so I will not be installing the screen. I love using cds, but sometimes someone else wants their music on my car so FM Transmiter is probably the way to go. THANK YOU!

Echo Auto does have a sneaky perk that isn't often recognized. A friend's 06 Prius only has Bluetooth for Phone Calls not audio. I set them up with an Echo Auto connected via Aux to the car. Now they Bluetooth connect to the Echo Auto and can both play music AND the Echo will pass-through telecommunications allowing the exact same phone experience but now with wireless audio too! And a dedicated Alexa voice assistant.

can just replace old stereo and get new bluetooth light up one pretty cheaply, or even carplay touchscreen instead. i want back up camera but that looks hard to install.
get set of new steering/seat covers, floor mats. look really cool and easily make the car feel much newer and cleaner
also really helpful is blindspot mirrors and panoramic rearview that clips on, give visibility all cars should have

The interior lighting is nice, but you have to watch out for cops with power-tripping, god complexes. I used to use EL wire and LEDs in my car years ago. Had it all done up really nice too. All I got for it was hassle and multiple tickets. One cop even tried to claim that I was "impersonating a police officer" because I had tiny blue leds on the unused license plate bolt-holes on the front of my car, and red ones on the rear. One cop even pulled me over multiple times. No, the lights did not flash. I had a dim, red EL wire outlining my dash and cluster. Barely visible from outside, but that one damn cop kept hassling me about it. I had been stopped by different cops in several localities in the area. I guess red + blue = cop. So folks, If you're in SW Pennsylvania, don't even drive a blue car and wear a red shirt. They'll come and git ya! That and they claim that the lights are dangerous as they can distract other drivers. Unlike their laser-bright, super-sun5,000 strobes, the flashing high-beams. and seizure-inducing flashy flicker lightbars that they leave on at night during their half-hour long harassment stops trying to dish out law and justice to all the violent, evil doers who decorate their cars, instead of looking for the heroin dealers and junkies infesting every damn town.
( EL Wire = Electro luminescent wire that required a high-voltage, DC to AC transformer / ballast to run )

I miss my led lights. They were easy to install on my first car where the wires are behind the dash. New car I can't take the dash off so the wires are in plain sight.... I just buy a trash can. It was half off on Amazon and there was another 50% off coupon so it was $4
I tried using an FM transmitter but it didn't work for me 😔Well, at least it didn't work in my car (radio issues maybe?) but it worked in my dad's car and my mom's car. I'm probably just going to replace my head unit to be honest.

@@savydaniel It's fine if you don't want em but even in these comments a lot of people specifically mention liking those. And there's a reason why there are a lot of phone holders on amazon with 20k+ reviews. I've got one myself and it's really nice for directions instead of having to glance down at my lap. I got mine for $5 at a yard sale though so it was a steal lol. I've also been using an FM transmitter for like 5 years cause I haven't bought a car with Bluetooth. I feel like you could've picked way worse examples😂 Like I said though, it's fine if you don't like those types of things
@@LibertyDrives I think there were better examples to be picked, since these won't make flipping a car easier. You did mention that in the beginning, remember? Btw, an FM transmitter is the worst choice when it comes to bluetooth streaming from your phone. For a few extra bucks, there are a ton of bluetooth adapters that integrate with the original car stereo (even for old models, from 2000). And by integrate, I mean they connect on the infotainment, on one of the back sockets, you hide them and boom, it's like you have OEM bluetooth. When you flip a car, you can mention "bluetooth connectivity" for real. Phone holders... does any car comes with a phone holder? Old or new? And I'm not talking about the OEM Nokia 6310 sockets, which were good only for... well, Nokia 6310. I've been through 30 or 40 phone holders and the best one remained a tiny magnet one, "glued" to the dash. I would still not mention it as added value when flipping a car.

These aren't about car flipping and you're right they won't make a car sell for more but they're not for that. I've had 1 phone holder for a few years and it's worked perfectly. And an FM transmitter works perfectly for anyone who wants Bluetooth for $20 and they can bring it to whatever car they have. People just have different preferences but these aren't about car flipping
