  • I went back out to the Ballyhaunis GAA pitch in county Mayo, to recreate what I think are 5 of the most iconic scores in Gaelic football. I’m gave myself 10 attempts to score from the same position as some GAA legends, and depending on how I got on I gave it a difficult rating out of 10.
Here’s a recap of how I got in with this challenge and the difficulty ratings I gave them.
    Andy Moran 5/10 (6 Star)
    Ciaran McDonald 3/10 (6 Star)
    Stephen Cluxton 6/10 6 (Star)
    Maurice Fitzgerald 30+ (10 Star)
    Owen Mulligan 5/10 4 (Star)

Love the video, but I think you need to redo andy Moran one, if you rewatch it, he’s one, two yard max off the by line, you’re a good bit further out than that. Has to be outside of your right boot. If you’re kicking inside of you’re right boot accurately with know wind, the ball wouldn’t get through the posts!

I'm no Andy Moran. It would be 0/10 if I was two yards from the sideline :)
