1:10 I sort of did that. I had Mortimer and Bella Goth have a third daughter named Elizabeth Goth. She was so beautiful that Malcolm obsessed over her, after financial crisis took hold on the Goth Family, Malcolm told them he would save their wealth if they arranged a marriage with him and their daughter, Elizabeth. Forced to save her family she accepted, long story short, they had a daughter named Veronica Landgraab, the child of wealth.
The goths auto popped out a kid and it was a boy.

I believe the reason the Sims start to get a as you said odd jaw after the first few generations is because it would be called a Habsburg jaw. This was very common in older Royal family's when pure-bloodedness was commonplace. The chins became a distinctive feature of royalty and pure blood and right to rule (inbreeding).
Honestly I don't really know if Sims had this in mind or just a weird coincidence but I thought it was a cool fact

0:22 I actually have a save where I play with the landgraabs. I renovated their mansion and even added a fourth floor, and I had Geoffrey and Nancy have another child. I also had Malcolm marry some base game sim, (I think her name was like Kelsey Mosher or something) and they had a baby named Annalise. I've had a lot of fun playing with the Landgraabs, and I plan on playing with them for generations.

I've actually been playing with the Landgraabs and am on my... fourth generation of Landgraabs descendants now! MCC Command Center made Nancy and Geoffrey have another son, but they died soon after when he was still a kid, and for some reason he was placed with a random family rather than his brother... So I made up this whole story how Malcolm resented him for making him share the inheritance and stealing his thunder, and the second son went on to be a journalist who exposed the secrets and wrongdoings of the Landgraab corporation.
Also, the guy actually looked quite good, for Nancy and Geoffrey's son!

It isn't true, though. "diverse" is a word applicable to a group of things. A single asian person is no more/less diverse than a single hispanic person. It's only when you have a group of persons with varying characteristics that you can describe it as "diverse". You can't rank the level of diverseness between two persons or things, which is what this comment does.
I guess I just don't understand what the comment is trying to say. It sounds unintentionally insulting to me, really. I wouldn't think that the race of an individual would hold any weight to whether they are "diverse" or "basic", and I think the comparison makes no sense in the first place.
The perspective/worldview of the commenter just seems very... unfriendly, or unfriendly to reality? I guess those are the words I'm looking for.
It seems like the commenter views diversity as applicable to single units, and that the least common units within a group hold the most diverseness, and the most common units within a group hold the least diverseness, and therefore can be described as "basic".
And because "basic" is normally used as an insult and the commenter uses it as a comparison against the “diverse generations”, the fact that it's being used as the antonym of "diverseness" gives me the impression that the commenter views the possession of diverseness as a positive attribute, and the possession of basicness as a negative attribute.
I just don’t find this perspective very healthy, or accurate. In the case of how the commenter uses this perspective in their comment, a white person is being assigned the negative trait of basicness based on their status as belonging to a common race unit, “white”. Because of their race, they are assigned a negative trait.
I do not understand this. But the comment has 100 likes, so it is obviously understood by many, as well as yourself I assume.

@@dallyh.2960 I can't believe we are getting so deep into this, LOL, but I think it's an interesting discussion. I reckon you might have interpreted the comment a bit too literally, so since you asked for an explanation here's my two cents:
The terms "diverse" versus "basic" here are used in a sense that is quite far from their literal meaning. And I believe the use of these terms in the way the commenter intended stems a lot from media representation. In movies, for example, you'll see white characters being represented way more than any other race. I feel like "basic" is now a way to refer to that same old white guy you see in every movie, be the super-hero, the boy next door, the romantic good looking dude in a romcom (of course these are just examples). Whereas the term "diverse" is used here to refer to the ones who are less represented, and therefore seen as "less common", more "exotic" and "fresh" (even though, in real life, this would differ with many variants).
This lack of symmetry in representation makes us believe the white guy is the basic, common, flavorless one because we are saturated with him, which is why the negative trait is associated with him, even though the word "basic" is not inherently negative. At the same time, it makes us see people of other ethnicities as the different, inovative, fresh, which are in this case positive traits.
I could be wrong, but that is how I interpreted it. Your interpretation is not wrong, but it failed to consider the socio-cultural aspect of language.

Thing we need and want:
- better sibling relationship ( actually arguing with your sibling, sharing, playing with them, fighting, giving advices, discuss boy drama, steal each others stuff and babysit if your sibling is younger)
- better babies
-school gameplay (actually going to school, making projects for a talent show, getting a detention and getting in trouble, studying, sneaking out from class...)
- more animals, farms ( farm animals, unique animals, unusal animals)
- vacations ( packing a suitcase going to the airport and getting on a dream vacation in New York, Paris, London and much more...)
- teen drama ( teens don't have any gameplay, they are just adults that can't start a family yet, we need teen drama like getting excited about a boy and crying over him, having a crush, picking a prom dress for a prom that you are going to with a guy who asked you out in school, dances, selfies, concerts, sneaking out, joining a gang with the bad squad...)
- better elders ( walkers, nursing homes for older ppl, golf, doctor appointments, babysitting their grandchildren and being included in their events and lifes-like parents should be)
- more personality ( being sad and dramatic after a breakup, sassy behavior, feeling happy after getting something you wanted, being selfish, being caring, really liking little kids and babysitting them)
- more traits ( kid lover, bad girl/boy, gang leader, sassy queen/king, caring, selfish, internet addicted, maybe sime sims can have health issues they can't see, hear, sniff, walk, talk...)
- unexpected events (being asked to a dance, aliens knocking on your door, principal wanting to have a talk about their children, scouts selling cookies...)
- more events ( dances, graduation party, prom, toddler playdates, school moms meetings, children's ballet shows, sport compatitions, school project show off, sleepovers...)
- more creatures ( imaginary friends, elfs, fairies, princesses, living statues, butterflies...)
- cars that sims can actually drive
- activities for children ( something fun to do after school, like ballet, karate, football, baseball, gymnastics, selling cookies...)
- more romantic gameplay ( it's always the same, find a random sim in the park, speed everything up to get married and start a family since there are no couple activities at all, sims age too soon and while expanding your couple relationship they get too old for everything, that's why having a teen relationship would help)
- more characters that are not included in our households and families (postman bringing you mail, scouts selling cookies, inspectors, children randomly. knocking on your door...)
- more open worlds
- sims need to age slower, adults can't be a couple without speeding their relationship up bc they get too old to start a family and have kids, grandparents can't see their children grow up bc they die too soon, toddlers are the only generation that's alright and doesn't need to change and toddlers age up the fastest

*lives a legitimate life and tries to fulfill Sim's aspiration but imagines he's not the type of Sim to get plastic surgery, so I just go* "is he even _worth_ to breed? Should I just abandon the household and play the other alive siblings?"
That happend to me in every family I had in the sims but then I create a girl that was and is the most beautiful girl I create in the Sims 4 and she became famous and had kids with Arturo Soñador, and they are beautiful, I never had kids that beautiful in my life.
(Thank god they are exactly like her mother because Arturo is not that beautiful lmaooo)

So fun to watch I love this. That would make a fun generations challenge to play without cheating you have to date/ marry/ have kids with the first person you see at the lot.

I miss playing generations in sims 2... I could play the same family for hours and hours and would be so invested. I had to delete my entire save file in sims 4 and felt nothing. I need more game play 😭
Right? When I got Sims 2 I was 8 years old. I didn't know about cheats and I wasn't very good a lot of the time and my mother sim died and her children were taken away. I bawled. Anytime I lost a save or I thought I had I'd be very upset. Sims 3 was pretty much the same. I was super invested. Sims 4... I just start new games and it's like, 'eh'.
