can i build this sims house without making ANY mistakes?

If i got 5 dollars every time Kayla said “it’s fine, it’s fine/everything is fine” I would be able to buy all sims packs 😂

EA builds would make sense if it turns out the creators did this challenge when making the game

NEW BUILD CHALLENGE
You have to place everything in this order, and can't adjust it once you move on to the next step.
1. Foundation [also pool if you would like too]
2. Walls [Exterior & Interior]
3. Windows and Doors
4.Roof
5. Lights
6. Cabinets [Kitchen & Bathroom]
7. Appliances [Sinks, refrigerator, Oven etc.]

9. Accessories
The idea behind this is that you'd be basically building a house in the order that it is constructed in real life.

My biggest mistake when I build a house in The Sims is actually building any house

I feel like it would be really interesting to take all your "no mistakes" challenges, come back and renovate them if you still have the files, to see what choices you would have made, etc

The chair in the backyard just looks like a sim pulled it out and left it there! They forgot to push it back in before they left

Has anyone noticed that every time Simsie uses that brown and blue painting that’s in the dining room, she always says she “has never used it” even though she has used it multiple times before

Simsie's mailbox placement always stresses me out. I was like, "oh no she messed up!" but it's just how she usually does it.

Now listen up: this challenge, COMBINED with a 10-minute challenge (*evil laugh*)

on god i lived in a house with pretty much this exact floorplan when i was a teenager

once upon a time when the sims first came out, my mom bought it for us and then took it back to the store the same day because “they were speaking Spanish” to which the employee confusingly responded with, “that’s their simlish Language” 😂

Good effort. The house turned out great really. I'd probably download it, make a few adjustments and play in it 😊Gameplay wise I always love one story houses. You did make a tiny mistake though, you placed the fence and then removed a piece of it to make the fake entrance, but we won't hold it against you, it's all in good fun anyway.

Can we watch you do a large modern mansion house kinda thing (not a speedbuild) without any kind of challenge? Sometimes it’s fun to just see what you would build like without budget limitations etc

I really love the room with the 2 beds. The colours are just perfect and I actually really love the placement of the beds I've never thought of creating a room so pretty before

maybe a weird take? but i love challenges like this because letting yourself accept mistakes you've made, live with them, work around them and move in, feels weirdly liberating

Challenge idea: you have to use every single swatch of an item when building a house
So say you’re doing a bedroom, you have to use every swatch of a single bed, so you end up with 8 bedrooms

You should try making a house without changing the swatches

I love how you did the floorplan here Kayla! It's nice that the entry doesn't put you right in the living area and that the bathroom isn't either. This floorplan makes so much sense, it could be a real house.

Video Idea - Random Swatch challenge! Use the plus and minus keys to filter through swatches, but first use a random number generator to see how many times you have to click! Whatever swatch the number of clicks lands on, you have to use for the item!

for the fence pillar fix, you just ctrl drag to delete the section with the pillars, then redraw it and the fence pillars disappear! i know it might not work in the spirit of a no mistakes build, but yeah this trick works to help get rid of the unwanted pillar placement!!!

tbh when I'm building I don't mind clipping in landscaping just because like, its leafy and irl trees will hang over the top of roofs or flowers will grow in tree roots that kind of stuff, but i get why it'd bother simsie. I really love this house! Brick houses are so lovely looking :)

i know you said that the main bedroom wasn’t your favourite, but I actually really like it! looooove the colours!

The wallpaper errors can be avoided by using the alt key to cover one wall or the shift key to fill a room. The garden just looks like it was due for the general maintenance tidy up. So it looks natural and I genuinely like it. Great build!
