@@lisajmakeup I'm a year late to the party, story of my life, but I'm a 53ish woman who learned a ton in this video!!
I couldn't possibly list every single thing, it'd be easier to state what I didn't learn, that which I already knew...
      .🎡🎢🎡🎢🎡🎢🎡🎢🎡🎢🎡🎢🎡🎢🎡🎢🎢🎡🎢🎡🎢
(Jeopardy tune playin in my head..................)
I didn't know ANY of this info!!!!! I'm a child of the 80s,
(Class of 87 Rox!! ✌) So EVERYONE applied EVERYTHING with their fingets- except for the cheap eyeshadow sticks, (there were never enough for all the shades either!) IF you wore compact powder, again, ALL there was, that came with thin powder puff...(Ohhh I can STILL smell my Mom's faithful, her "Holy Grail" of Covergirl's Original Pressed Powder, with the dark brown compact....Ohh thst smell takes me right back to being a little girl, watching in amazement as she applied each product carefully. CG "base" back then, maybe a little concealer that came in a lipstick tube.... and Maybelliene 3 red eyebrow pencils, 3 to a pack, then I think it was also Maybelliene that had TGE BEST MASCARA for years....the green & pink tube, I think?? Seemed like it was the ONLY MASCARA EVERY WOMAN USED FOR YEARS & YEARS!!!!
OH I miss her....she just passed away 7 months ago, my heart aches for her....)
Anywho, Sorry! But I literally learned everything. The ONLY thing I had tried before seeing your video was the sponge. I tried a few times but was told to only barely get it damp, and this is probably why it didn't work for me.
I'm going to have to go thru the transcript & make a list & take down notes.... lol I'll never remember all you covered, very expertly. Definitely new sub here!!! πŸ’Ÿ

I love all your tips and tricks. I really didn't know that damp of a sponge worked like that. I tend to use my fingers.
Always nice to wake up and get ready watching your videos πŸ₯°

I'm so excited to see a professional talk about makeup and how to apply and what to use. I'm 30 and fairly new to applying makeup regularly and using concealer and a sponge for foundation. This video was so helpful and I'm looking for a brush now for my lancome foundation. I love your natural looking makeup. Very classy and exactly what I've been looking for. πŸ™‚

I have used your brush method of applying foundation for a long time now and what a difference it has made. Also, by watching your videos, my eyeshadow looks 100% better because now I apply eyeshadow in a way that enhances how my eyes look (and your brushes have made a difference). Thank you, Lisa for such informative, fun videos to watch. You are the best.

I learned a LOT from your video!! I'm 60 years old but relatively new to wearing foundation. I found your video succinct, which I so appreciate. I had no idea before watching your video what the differences were in application methods and when to choose which method. I found your presentation very good; easy to listen to, easy to watch, nice background, good lighting. Well done. I found your video when I went to youtube and typed in sponge vs brush for foundation. I am a new subscriber!😁
